cvs-fast-export analyzes a collection of RCS files in a CVS repository (or outside of one) and, when possible, emits an equivalent history in the form of a fast-import stream. Not all possible histories can be rendered this way; the program tries to emit useful warnings when it can't. The program can also produce a visualization of the resulting commit DAG in the DOT format handled by the graphviz suite. The package also includes cvssync, a tool for mirroring masters from remote CVS hosts.

linuxptp is an implementation of the Precision Time Protocol (PTP) according to IEEE standard 1588 for Linux. The dual design goals are to provide a robust implementation of the standard and to use the most relevant and modern Application Programming Interfaces (API) offered by the Linux kernel. Supporting legacy APIs and other platforms is not a goal.

Infovore is a map/reduce framework for processing large RDF data sets such as Freebase and DBpedia. It is based on Hadoop.

Aspose.Pdf is a .NET PDF component to write PDF documents without using Adobe Acrobat. It supports form field creation, document, text and page properties, color space, text, heading, and attachment settings. It lets you create PDF documents by using its API with XML templates and XSL-FO files. It also converts HTML, XSL-FO, and MS Word to PDF. Other features include image formats and security features, hyperlinks, the ability to add footnotes, automatic fitting to content in a table, decimal Tab stops, HTML tags, and keeping paragraphs together when breaking pages.

Devel Live CD includes a minimal toolchain from Fedora which makes it possible to compile the Linux kernel and other software. It has been created to compile programs for 4MLinux. There is no dependency tracking in 4MLinux, so this may be a useful tool for developers who are interested in building fully-customized Linux operating systems.

TXR is a new data munging language. TXR's special pattern language provides template-based matching of entire documents or large sections of documents. It also contains a language for functional and imperative programming. It is written in C and takes the form of a utility that is portable to Unix-like platforms and Windows.
Release Notes: TXR now transparently handles null characters in text streams. Unhandled exceptions in C library routines now give the nearest source location in TXR code. TXR Lisp now has macros, with a defmacro operator that supports nested lambda lists. Destructuring operators called tree-bind and tree-case are introduced. Hashes are now deeply compared under the equal function, by their content and other attributes, rather than treated as pointers. New ways to access hash tables were provided. Hash union and diff can specify join functions to merge the data. There were also other new features plus quite a few significant bugfixes.
Quelea is lyrics projection software for churches. It aims to incorporate the best features of existing solutions as well as leveraging new, useful technologies that existing solutions don't have.
Release Notes: The interface was rewritten in JavaFX. An option was added to keep the same size text for each part of a song. Video background support was added. The clear text option now fades. The black option now fades. A new logo option was added. It can easily fade live view to any given image. A loop button was added for presentations along with a test patterns dialog for calibrating displays. The theme panel was revamped and is now much easier to use. Text position and text alignment can be set separately per song. Opensong, OpenLP, Easyslides, and plain text import were added along with many more features.
Clonezilla is a partition or disk cloning tool similar to Symantec Ghost. It saves and restores only blocks in use on the hard drive if the file system is supported. For unsupported file systems, dd is used instead. It has been used to clone a 5 GB system to 40 clients in about 10 minutes.

The drbl package was updated to 2.7.26-drbl1, and clonezilla was updated to 3.9.28-drbl1. An unattended option (-b) was added to makeboot.sh. The libc6-i386 package was added in all AMD64 versions so that 32-bit programs can be run. ocs-live-dev and ocs-iso should now also honor the "quiet" boot parameter when creating a recovery iso/zip. ocs-live-dev was improved to directly put image and unattended mode of boot parameters onto a USB device.

xllmnrd is an IPv6 LLMNR responder daemon (primarily for GNU/Linux operating systems). It allows Microsoft Windows clients to get the IPv6 address of a server on the same local network without any DNS configuration and effectively complements IPv4-only NetBIOS name resolution provided by Samba.

MeTA1 is a modularized message transfer agent (MTA) consisting of five (or more) persistent processes, four of which are multi-threaded. A queue manager controls SMTP servers and SMTP clients to receive and send email messages, an address resolver provides lookups in various maps (including DNS) for mail routing, and a main control program starts the other processes and watches over their execution. The queue manager organizes the flow of messages through the system and provides measures to avoid overloading the local or remote systems by implementing a central control instance. It is simple to configure using a C-like syntax and is secure and efficient.
