Download Website 25 Jan 23:33 xjobs 20140125

Screenshot

xjobs runs several jobs in parallel and limits the number of jobs running at once so that every processor of the machine is busy, but not overloaded. A batch of long-running processes invoked from the shell are normally executed one after another, no matter how many processors are available. xjobs allows batching those jobs while still keeping the machine busy. The interface of xjobs is similar to that of xargs.

Release Notes: This release adds a workaround for GNU's standard-incompliant getopt extension which breaks command line parsing.

Download Website 25 Jan 23:31 pride r195

Screenshot

Pride combines bash scripts, zenity, ant, ImageMagick, and the Android tools to create a fast and simple POSIX alternative for Android development. It provides all the basic commands (clean, build, release, etc.) of other Android IDEs. But it is primarily a robust and simple injection framework. Injections from methods to clusters of activities are easily created from existing code and can then be injected into any project. Pride can also be used to batch build, load, or release multiple projects and can update class and resource files among projects that use the same objects or resources.

Release Notes: The remaining style elements generated by android-holo-colors.com have been added to the res directories. The backported library-projects for number pickers and switches which use some of these elements will be in ~/.pride/hold until they are integrated into injections.

Download Website 25 Jan 18:02 Kernel Mode Linux 3.13_001

Screenshot

Kernel Mode Linux is a technology which enables the execution of user programs in a kernel mode. In Kernel Mode Linux, user programs can access kernel address space directly. Unlike kernel modules, user programs are executed as ordinary processes (except for their privilege level), so scheduling and paging are performed as usual. Although it seems dangerous, the safety of the kernel can be ensured through such methods as static type checking, software fault isolation, and so forth.

Release Notes: This release has been merged with the 3.13 Linux kernel.
