No download Website 22 Mar 21:23 CIL (C Intermediate Language) 1.6.0

Screenshot

CIL is a frontend for the C programming language which facilitates program analysis and transformation. CIL will parse and typecheck a program, and compile it into a simplified subset of C. For example, in CIL, all looping constructs are given a single form and expressions have no side effects. This reduces the number of cases which must be considered when manipulating a C program. CIL has been used for a variety of projects, including CCured, a tool which makes C programs memory safe. It supports ANSI C, as well as most of the extensions of the GNU C and Microsoft C compilers. A Perl script acts as a drop-in replacement for either gcc or Microsoft's cl, and allows merging of the source files in your project. Other features include support for control-flow and points-to analyses.

Release Notes: New features: support for static local variables and GCC’s "computed gotos" (or "labels as values"). Various bugfixes.

No download Website 22 Mar 16:47 Bibfilex 0.1.6

Screenshot

Bibfilex is software to create and manage archives of bibliographical items (books, articles, etc.) according to Biblatex structure and rules. It is far less advanced than other bibliographic managers like JabRef, and allows only a few customizations. Its strength is speed and lightness, especially when used with many items. It uses SQLite as a database. It can store the items according to each of the entry types described in the Biblatex manual (book, article, etc.), import the content of a file in Biblatex format (like a JabRef database), export data to a Biblatex file (like a JabRef database), locate an item just typing its author name, title, etc. filter the items by selecting a keyword in a list, filter the items according to three different conditions (or to manually modify the SQL statement of the filter to make it more suitable or complex) or according to the \cite commands contained within a Latex document, associate various attachments (files of every kind) with each item, activate autocompletion of data in each field with “Ctrl + Space”, automatically create unique BibTex keys according to a pattern defined by the user, and specify the fields (columns) shown in the grid view of the data. It is also possible to replace the \cite and \printbibliography commands in a Latex document with extended citations and bibliography, which are composed according to a user-defined pattern, to export the Latex file in other formats more easily.

Release Notes: This release adds bugfixes and buttons to browse the items.

Download Website 22 Mar 10:48 Siam Quantum 1.2.8

Screenshot

Siam Quantum (SQ) is a quantum chemistry program that calculates wave function and total energy of molecules. It currently supports Hartree-Fock and MP2 methods using Gaussian-type basis functions. Geometry optimization is also possible. The source code is well documented because it was initially designed for academic purposes so that students can easily understand. However, Siam Quantum can also produce high quality results for research purposes because the energies calculated are comparable to the ones produced by other software packages such as Gaussian or GAMESS, with the errors in the order of 10^-6 Hartrees, which can be further reduced with more strict cut-off.

Release Notes: The Minimum Energy Crossing Point (MECP) between two spin states can now be calculated.
