Mroonga is a MySQL storage engine based on groonga, the full text search engine. It uses the Pluggable Storage Engine interface in MySQL 5.1 and later.
Release Notes: This release begins to support REPAIR TABLE for broken groonga databases. In the previous version, if there were no *.mrn files that were mroonga's database, you could not repair tables in wrapper mode.
Groonga is a fast and accurate full text search engine based on an inverted index. Newly registered document instantly appears in search results, and updates are allowed without read locks. These characteristics result in superior performance for real-time applications. It is also a column-oriented database management system (DBMS). Compared with well-known row-oriented systems, such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, column-oriented systems are more suited for aggregate queries.
Release Notes: This release improves the usability of the administration Web interface and supports the groonga_query_log_path directive for groonga-httpd, which provides nginx based HTTP server functionality. There is also an improved delete command that supports cascaded delete. Cascaded delete allows deletion of referenced records at once.
Lunzip is a decompressor for lzip files. Its small size makes it well suited for embedded devices or software installers that need to decompress files but do not need compression capabilities.
Release Notes: The file version is no longer shown in status messages. Minor fixes have been made.
4MLinux is a miniature Linux distribution focusing on four capabilities: maintenance (by using it as a system rescue live CD), multimedia (for example, for playing video DVDs), miniserver (using the inetd daemon), and mystery (meaning console games).
Release Notes: The main features in this release are antivirus protection (Clam AntiVirus 0.98 with ClamWin), data backup/recovery (4MLinux Backup Scripts 7.1, GNU ddrescue 1.17, TestDisk 6.14), and disk partitioning/imaging (cfdisk 2.23.1, GNU Parted 3.1, Partimage 0.6.9, Partclone 0.2.58). The supported filesystems are: btrfs, ext2, ext3, ext4, FAT, HFS, HFS+, jfs, Minix, NTFS, ReiserFS, and XFS. A wide set of archival formats can be managed via 7-Zip 9.20, FreeArc 0.666, and PeaZip 5.1.0. File managers (Midnight Commander 4.8.10, X File Explorer 1.35), UNetbootin 585, and InfraRecorder 0.53 are also included.
The libQtCassandra library is an advanced C++ library used to access Cassandra servers. Unlike the basic Cassadra server interface, this C++ library provides separate objects that handle each level of the server data, i.e. the cluster, contexts, table, rows, and cells. It uses Qt and the Qt style for all the classes, which makes it very easy to use if you already know Qt.
Release Notes: The biggest reason for this upgrade is that the library QCassandraRow::exists() function is now fixed. This was a nasty bug: if you used that function and the cell being checked did not exist, it was created. This release has been upgraded to version 2.0.1 of Cassandra and version 0.9.0 of thrift. This way, the library evolves along with Cassandra.
DVKit provides an Eclipse-based integrated development environment (IDE) for common design-verification tasks, such as developing SystemVerilog, C++, TCL, and shell code.
Release Notes: Adds support for editing Perl and Python files, and support for Mac OS X. Version updates for a set of included packages.
Dialog allows you to present a variety of questions or display messages using dialog boxes from a shell script. Several types of dialog boxes are implemented including: calendar, checklist, file-selection, gauge, info, input, menu, message, radiolist, tailbox, text, time, yes/no.
Release Notes: Fixes a regression in the gauge widget from 2013/09/28. dlg_reallocate_gauge() no longer fails when no --title option is given.
taskrambler is a HTTP server that is intended to eventually be used as the user interface provider for a multi-user task management system inspired by taskwarrior. It delivers static assets to Web browsers and some dynamic interaction.
Release Notes: This release adds a storage layer, adds signup functionality, stores users, stores passwords as PBKDF2 sha512, makes login work against LDAP and stored passwords, adds a favicon, and shows version, session info, and login info on each page.
F-IRC is an IRC client for the console. It supports multiple servers, scrollback, and all the basic features one can expect from an IRC client.
Release Notes: Adds IPv6 support.
MSS Code Factory is a rule-based expert system for translating application models to source code.
Release Notes: This release refreshes the MySQL 5.5 support to the point release supported by Ubuntu 13.04. It should be backwards compatible with the 12.04 LTS release as well, but this has not been tested. The MySQL data definitions are complete, with support for the audit columns on tables and the history tables as well. The installation of CFDbTest 2.0 for MySQL 5.5 on Ubuntu 13.04 installs with zero errors, though the history and audit information is not maintained by the stored procedures yet. Apologies for the formerly broken MySQL 5.5 implementation.
Maildrop is a powerful email filter/delivery agent. It supports mbox-style mailboxes and maildirs (a mail storage format used by Qmail). Its mail filtering language supports RFC822 parsing and GDBM/Berkeley DB database files. The maildrop package also includes a command-line tool to perform various operations on MIME messages.
Release Notes: Search patterns are now MIME-aware. Search patterns are now specified in the UTF-8 codeset, and will get transcoded to the mail's character set, as indicated by the MIME headers.
The Courier mail transfer agent (MTA) is an integrated mail/groupware server based on open commodity protocols such as ESMTP, IMAP, POP3, LDAP, SSL, and HTTP. Release Notes: Checks for message flag issues were added in this release.
Release Notes: This release adds some new string-related methods.
libnode is a C++ implementation of Node.js. Just like Node.js, libnode provides non-blocking I/O, which enables you to develop scalable Web applications in C++. The memory management of libnode is automatic, based on either shared_ptr or bdw-gc. libnode is good to use on embedded devices because its system resource consumption is lower than Node.js.
Release Notes: This release supports Windows and improves the performance. libuv has been updated to version 0.10.17. libj has been updated to version 0.8.2.
Gmsh is an automatic 3D finite element grid generator with built-in CAD and post-processing facilities. Its design goal is to provide a simple meshing tool with parametric input and advanced visualization capabilities. It is built around four modules: geometry, mesh, solver, and post-processing. The specification of any input to these modules is done either interactively using the graphical user interface (based on FLTK and OpenGL) or in ASCII text files using Gmsh's own scripting language.
Release Notes: This release introduces a new quick access menu, multiple view selection in the GUI, more powerful animation creation, and many small enhancements and bug fixes.
GetDP is a general finite element solver using mixed elements to discretize de Rham-type complexes in one, two, and three dimensions. The main feature of GetDP is the closeness between the input data defining discrete problems (written by the user in ASCII data files) and the symbolic mathematical expressions of these problems.
Release Notes: This release fixes function arguments in nested expressions, and includes a variety of other minor improvements.
Release Notes: This version includes support for registration colors.
