Plgen (Playlist Generator) is a tool that sorts files for MP3 players in a user defined order. Cheap MP3 players often come with no playlist capabilities. In addition these players often make use of the FAT16/32 file system, leading to confusion when the playing order is not alphabetical on the device even though it is shown as alphabetical in the file explorer.
Release Notes: This release fixes the bug introduced in version 1.6 and adds an additional GUI supporting drag-and-drop for a better user experience.
The WiKID Strong Authentication System is a highly scalable, secure, self-hosted two-factor authentication system. It is simple to implement and maintain, allows users to be validated automatically, requires no hardware tokens, has a simple API for application support (via Ruby, PHP, Java, COM, Python, etc.), supports multiple domains, and supports replication for fault tolerance and scalability. It also supports mutual /host and transaction authentication, wireless tokens only domains, locked tokens (to your PC), anti-keystroke logger keypad PIN entry, etc.
Release Notes: This release fixes one-time passcode lifetimes not being updated, fixes the back button on the domain page, and adds minor UI fixes.
Rodent filemanager is a fast, small, and powerful file manager. Its emphasis is on ease of use for the advanced user, not the computer illiterate. Rodent filemanager (a.k.a. xffm >= 4.6.0) is the next step in the evolution of Xffm, now with a threaded design optimized for multicore processors.
Release Notes: This release disallows placement of the cursor before an icon, disables lp-input on mouse clicks in the icon area, allows switching to lp-input with a mouse click, improves a fix for initial tab-activation of lp-input, fixes double free cleanup, and activates lpterm after an initial tab and paste.
The Ecere SDK is a cross-platform toolkit for building software applications. It currently runs on Windows, Linux, Mac OS X (through X11), FreeBSD, and the Android OS. It should run on other Unix platforms with minor testing/tweaking. With the Ecere SDK, you can develop applications once and deploy them on all supported platforms alongside a lightweight runtime environment. It introduces eC, an object oriented language derived from and fully compatible with C, compromising neither runtime performance nor ease of use. A built-in 3D engine supporting both Direct3D and OpenGL is fully integrated.
Release Notes: The Windows installer has been updated with TDM/MinGW-w64. A lot of bugs were fixed.
Pride combines bash scripts, zenity, ant, ImageMagick, and the Android tools to create a fast and simple POSIX alternative for Android development. It provides all the basic commands (clean, build, release, etc.) of other Android IDEs. But it is primarily a robust and simple injection framework. Injections from methods to clusters of activities are easily created from existing code and can then be injected into any project. Pride can also be used to batch build, load, or release multiple projects and can update class and resource files among projects that use the same objects or resources.
Release Notes: The Flashcard Activity has been updated.
Build CC is a simple script that automates the building of cross compilers using the GNU toolchain.
Release Notes: This release updates to GCC 4.6.3 and improves AIX target support.
KitCreator is a simple build system for creating a Tclkit. It was created to ease creation of Tclkits. A Tclkit is, briefly, a single-file executable that contains Tcl (both the interpreter and all the resources it requires to operate) and other Tcl-related packages (such as Tk or Incr Tcl).
Release Notes: This release fixes various bugs related to Windows Tclkits and adds additional support for Android builds when producing a library.
Samba is a software suite that provides seamless file and print services to SMB/CIFS clients. It is freely available, unlike other SMB/CIFS implementations, and allows for interoperability between Linux/Unix servers and Windows-based clients.
Release Notes: This is the second release candidate of the upcoming Samba 4.1 release series.
BalanceNG is a modern, IPv6 capable software IP load balancing solution. It is small, fast, and easy to use and set up. It offers session persistence, different distribution methods (Round Robin, Random, Weighted Random, Least Session, Least Bandwidth, Hash, Agent, and Randomized Agent) and a customizable UDP health check agent in source code. It supports VRRP to set up high availability configurations on multiple nodes. It supports SNMP, integrating the BALANCENG-MIB with Net-SNMPD. It implements a very fast in-memory IP-to-location database, allowing powerful location-based server load-balancing.
Release Notes: The thread synchronization debugging library has been disabled to optimize for speed.
rdesktop is an open source client for the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), which is used in a number of Microsoft products including Windows NT Terminal Server, Windows 2000 Server, Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server, and Windows 2008 R2 Server. rdesktop currently runs on Linux and other Unix based platforms with the X Window System.
Release Notes: This release includes features regarding authentication and security such as Network Level Authentication (NLA) which adds support for SSL/TLSv1 connections and kerberos server authentication. Connection sharing for SeamlessRDP will use the same connection against a terminal server to start additional applications. This was done implementing inter-process communication (IPC) for rdesktop, where a master process is controlled by slave processes. Smart card single-sign-on functionality is available for both plain rdp and CredSSP using a PIN passed as an argument to rdesktop.
