Record Editor is a data file editor for CSV (Comma/Tab delimited values) files, fixed field width files, and XML files. This program uses a record-layout definition to display the data file in a human-readable form. It can handle PC (text and binary), Unix (text and binary), and native IBM mainframe (text and binary) file formats. It is similar to Net-Cobol's Cobol-Editor or Compuware's FileAid.

Release Notes: This release adds improved Macro (Scripting) support, a text-edit view, group filters, support for editing GetText-PO files and SwingX-Tip files, two more CSV parsers and improved CSV support, improved support for Cobol Data files, foreign language support (via GetText-PO files), docking and undocking support, and other minor changes.

MUSCLE (Multi User Server Client Linking Environment) is an N-way messaging server and networking API. It includes client-side networking APIs for various languages, including C, C++, C#, Delphi, Java, and Python. MUSCLE lets programs communicate over a network via streams of serialized Message objects. The included server program ("muscled") lets its clients message each other and store information in its server-side hierarchical database. The database supports flexible queries via hierarchical wildcarding, and "live" updates via a subscription mechanism.

Release Notes: This release adds a number of enhancements, including thread-safe-by-default HashtableIterators and MessageFieldNameIterators, improved AtomicCounter functionality, better UDP support in the MessageIOGateway classes, an optional LRU cache for GetHostByName() results, better pthreads-compatibility for thread IDs, and a number of bugfixes and efficiency improvements.

check_openmanage is a plugin for Nagios that checks the hardware health of Dell servers running OpenManage Server Administrator (OMSA). The plugin can be used remotely with SNMP or locally with NRPE, check_by_ssh, or similar. It checks the health of the storage subsystem, power supplies, memory modules, temperature probes, etc., and gives an alert if any of the components are faulty or operate outside normal parameters.

It provides all the basic commands (clean, build, release, etc.) of other Android IDEs. But it is primarily a robust and simple injection framework. Injections from methods to clusters of activities are easily created from existing code and can then be injected into any project. Pride can also be used to batch build, load, or release multiple projects and can update class and resource files among projects that use the same objects or resources.

SHTns is a high-performance Spherical Harmonic Transform library. It was designed for numerical simulation (fluid flows, mhd, etc.) in spherical geometries, but can be used for any kind of problem involving scalar or vector spherical harmonics. It is very fast, thanks to careful vectorization and runtime tuning. It supports multi-threaded transforms via OpenMP. It features scalar and vector transforms, synthesis and analysis, and flexible truncation and normalization. A Python interface is included.

Release Notes: The main new feature in this release is the introduction of scalar spherical harmonic transforms of complex valued spatial data. There is also a new function for controlling the amount of informative output (verbosity). Support for Intel MKL has been improved, the header file is now compatible with std::complex (c++), and a new Python example for solving shallow water equations has been added.

Seed7 is a general purpose programming language. It is a higher level language compared to Ada, C++, and Java. In Seed7, new statements and operators can be declared easily. Functions with type results and type parameters are more elegant than a template or generics concept. Object orientation is used when it brings advantages and not in places when other solutions are more obvious. Although Seed7 contains several concepts of other programming languages, it is generally not considered as a direct descendant of any other programming language.

Release Notes: Several hashCode functions have been improved to avoid an integer overflow. The description of the Seed7 installation in doc/install.txt has been improved. A new sha1.s7i library which defines a message digest with the SHA-1 secure hash algorithm has been added. Definitions of the &:= and |:= operators have been added to bin32.s7i. int64AsBytesBytesLe, int64AsEightBytesBe, and bytesBeAsInt functions have been added to bytedata.s7i. A bug in the conText function (file con_win.c) has been fixed. The mk_cygw.mak makefile has been improved to avoid problems with the console keyboard.

Bluehorn Reader crawls RSS feeds and makes their content available to clients (only a browser client exists currently). It supports multiple users, whose sessions' look and feel can be customized based on each place they log in from. A potentially useful feature is that, while it should be able to support a large number of users from a single host, if that is not enough, more hosts can be added to share the load, with only minor configuration tweaks. The Web server part is mainly in JSP, so it should be easy to play with it and adapt it to support other use cases.

Release Notes: HTTP traffic is now automatically redirected to HTTPS, if an HTTPS connection exists.
