NetXMS is a network monitoring and management system with a modular architecture. It can be used for monitoring an entire IT infrastructure, starting with SNMP-capable hardware (like switches and routers) and ending with applications on servers. The system has a three-tier architecture; the information is collected by monitoring agents (either its own agents or SNMP agents) and delivered to the monitoring server for processing and storing, where it can be accessed by using the management console. It features centralized configuration and centralized agent upgrades.
Release Notes: This release greatly improves support for table DCIs, including transformation scripts, multi-column keys, and charts based on table data. Support for SNMP tables is also added. The Web interface now features CAS single sign-on support, as well as a persistent workbench layout.

Yioop! is a PHP search engine. Yioop! can be configured as either a general purpose search engine for the whole Web or it can be configured to provide search results for a set of URLs or domains. Yioop can crawl pages or can directly index archives such as ARC and WARC. It supports indexing several file formats such as HTML, Atom, PDF, DOC, PPT, RTF, RSS, XML, SVG, PNG, JPG, BMP, GIF, and sitemaps. The Yioop! crawler can be deployed on one or many machines. It supports having one or more to crawl scheduler processes, as well as multiple fetchers and mirrors. Crawling respects robots.txt including Crawl-delay. Yioop! crawls are stored in a Web archive format that is easy to move around. Crawling can be done on one machine and the results deployed elsewhere. Yioop! supports mixing of crawls. Yioop! comes with a search front end that can be localized as desired using a GUI. This GUI supports RTL languages. Management of crawls can also be done using this GUI. Yioop! can be configured in a straightforward manner to make use of file caching or memcache if available.
Release Notes: This version includes a new hybrid inverted index/suffix tree indexing scheme that should make calculating search results from future crawls faster (doesn't affect old crawls). It can make use of HTTP ETag: and Expire: information when deciding whether to download a URL it has seen before. It also supports the creation of classifiers using active learning. These can be used to label and add scoring information to documents during a crawl. This release includes improvements to the RSS feed news_updater and a segmenter for Chinese.
dd_rescue copies data from one file or block device to another. It is intended for error recovery, so by default, it doesn't abort on errors and doesn't truncate the output file. It uses large block sizes to quicken the copying, but falls back to small blocks upon encountering errors. It produces reports that allow you to keep track of bad blocks. dd_rescue features a number of optimizations, such as sparse block detection, preallocation, and Linux zerocopy (splice). It supports data protection by (multi-pass) overwriting of files or partitions with good and fast random numbers.
Release Notes: This release fixes an issue with an overflow when displaying avg.load after a while. It also enables faster detection of zero-filled blocks (sparse mode, option -a) on x86 (32-bit) with runtime detection (unlike x86-64 where you always have SSE2-capable CPUs). There's also some asm code to achieve a 3x speedup of ARM CPUs on this task.
CIL is a frontend for the C programming language which facilitates program analysis and transformation. CIL will parse and typecheck a program, and compile it into a simplified subset of C. For example, in CIL, all looping constructs are given a single form and expressions have no side effects. This reduces the number of cases which must be considered when manipulating a C program. CIL has been used for a variety of projects, including CCured, a tool which makes C programs memory safe. It supports ANSI C, as well as most of the extensions of the GNU C and Microsoft C compilers. A Perl script acts as a drop-in replacement for either gcc or Microsoft's cl, and allows merging of the source files in your project. Other features include support for control-flow and points-to analyses.
Release Notes: This release fixes installation of the CIL library. It fixes machine-independent flags in cilly (eg. -fPIC).
