The improvements in this version are mainly in the built-in HTTP server, which from now on includes the ability to use the Basic access authentication mechanism to access the Web server. It also includes the ability to deny and/or allow IP addresses with the new host_deny and host_allow options.
CIL is a frontend for the C programming language which facilitates program analysis and transformation. CIL will parse and typecheck a program, and compile it into a simplified subset of C. For example, in CIL, all looping constructs are given a single form and expressions have no side effects. This reduces the number of cases which must be considered when manipulating a C program. CIL has been used for a variety of projects, including CCured, a tool which makes C programs memory safe. It supports ANSI C, as well as most of the extensions of the GNU C and Microsoft C compilers. A Perl script acts as a drop-in replacement for either gcc or Microsoft's cl, and allows merging of the source files in your project. Other features include support for control-flow and points-to analyses.
Release Notes: This release supports C99 flexible array members, supports GCC’s “case range” extension (--useCaseRange), adds a “regtest” make target to run regression tests, installs cilly as a proper Perl script, and adds many bugfixes.

Lilblue Linux is a Gentoo-based, security-enhanced, fully featured XFCE4 desktop system for amd64, built on uClibc. Its userland utilities are not provided by busybox, but by coreutils, util-Linux, etc. It resembles a common Linux system with one exception: It uses uClibc as its standard C library and not the more common glibc, and so brings in some of the advantages of embedded systems. Security enhancements come from Gentoo's hardened toolchain and Grsec/PaX-patched kernel. The fully-featured XFCE4 desktop has software for browsing, email, word processing, multimedia, chat, games, and more.
Release Notes: This is the initial release.
gst123 is a GStreamer-based command line audio player in the style of mpg123 and ogg123. The advantage over these tools is that gst123 can play every file GStreamer can, so mixed music collections with FLAC, Ogg, and MP3 files are no problem. Newer versions of gst123 additionally provide support for playing video files, while the ability to use gst123 without X11 display has been preserved.
Release Notes: This release fixes problems with some local filenames (for instance, filenames containing %20 or similar) and adds the option -k/--skip=<n> to skip the first "n" seconds.

exude is a simple to use memory debugger. It enhances standard memory allocation calls with simple replacements that add just a little more functionality, such as keeping track of whether memory was previously allocated, and prevents common errors such as double frees, memory leaks, and so on.
Release Notes: This is a general release.
clens is a convenience library that aids in porting code from OpenBSD to different operating systems. Operating systems traditionally have different enough APIs that porting code is painful and can litter pretty code with ugly #ifdefs. In order to keep code readable and drastically reduce the number of #ifdefs needed, clens brings other APIs or missing functions into specific OS "focus".
Release Notes: This release provides general updates.
clog (Copious Logger) is a library that provides various logging services. It can be used to log information to syslog or stderr at various levels of verbosity. The user can define debug or verbosity flags at runtime.

GMLP is an API for processing markup from one language to another. It is designed to not know nor care about what a markup language is. It reads a number of newline terminated strings and outputs them through a set of regular expressions that define the from and to markup language. There is currently one dataset, but it is easy to write your own conversion tables.
Release Notes: GMLP has been re-written and now is much smaller, faster, clearer, and easier to understand. The global data has been eliminated.
SSLsplit is a tool that performs man-in-the-middle attacks against SSL/TLS encrypted network connections for network forensics and penetration testing. It terminates SSL/TLS and initiates a new connection to the original destination, logging all data transmitted. It supports plain TCP and SSL, HTTP and HTTPS, and IPv4 and IPv6. For SSL and HTTPS, it generates and signs forged X509v3 certificates on-the-fly using the original certificate's subject DN and subjectAltName extension. It supports Server Name Indication, RSA, DSA, and ECDSA keys, and DHE and ECDHE cipher suites. It can also use existing certificates if the private key is available.
Release Notes: This bugfix release fixes a bug in passthrough mode (-P) when no matching certificate is found for a connection (issue 9) and a bug in binding to ports < 1024 with default settings (issue 8). Additionally, it works around a bug in OpenSSL 1.0.0k and 1.0.1e which caused a segmentation fault when loading certificates or keys.
depfinder finds the dependencies of Slackware packages. The dependency list can be output to stdout, to a .dep text file without version information, or to a slack-required file with version information. depfinder is very fast; its speed is mainly due to the C++ code that is used in depfinder to find in which package each individual library is included. It also has support for running multiple jobs, which makes it a lot faster when used with multiple CPUs/cores. depfinder supports detecting dependencies of binary files compiled with languages such as C or C++ and it can also detect Python dependencies.
Release Notes: This release adds a hidden option to not stop depfinder if it encounters an executable with a dependency that is not present in the system.
