openTCS is a platform-independent transportation control system (TCS) intended to control automatic guided vehicles (AGVs), but which can be used to steer virtually any (track-guided) vehicle. It consists of an abstract kernel which implements replaceable algorithms and strategies (computation of routes, dispatching of orders to vehicles, scheduling of resources, etc.), pluggable vehicle drivers which implement communication protocols, and a graphical frontend for creating and visualizing logical models of areas the vehicles are moving in.

Release Notes: This release updates the visualization client, including many bugfixes, usability improvements, and internationalization (English and German languages). It properly includes a vehicle's length when persisting/materializing a course model. It removes an erroneous JAXB annotation which led to an exception when trying to persist load generator input data in the generic client. It changes the startup scripts/batch files to look for extension JARs in lib/openTCS-extensions/ instead of lib/.

John the Ripper is a fast password cracker, currently available for many flavors of Unix, Windows, DOS, BeOS, and OpenVMS. Its primary purpose is to detect weak Unix passwords. It supports several crypt(3) password hash types commonly found on Unix systems, as well as Windows LM hashes. On top of this, lots of other hashes and ciphers are added in the community-enhanced version (-jumbo), and some are added in John the Ripper Pro.

Release Notes: Incremental mode's efficiency has been improved, and its length and character set limitations in default builds have been lifted. More speed metrics have been added to the status line. Trivial parallel and distributed processing has been implemented with new --fork and --node options. Bitmaps have been implemented for faster comparison of computed vs. loaded hashes. Cracking of bcrypt on 32-bit x86 with GCC 4.2+ and DES-based tripcodes has been sped up. Reconstruction of ASCII encodings of LM hashes has been implemented to save RAM. The formats interface has been made more GPU-friendly. Many formats have been renamed. The license has been relaxed.

From the contact list, the user can follow other people, or unfollow the contacts already there. The timeline can now be navigated, and the number of posts per page can be configured. In the GUI area, several tooltips have been added (try hovering the user's avatar or timestamp of the post) with additional information, and the left panel can now be resized or hidden. The status bar shows more relevant information, and there are "new posts" notifications.

Clonezilla is a partition or disk cloning tool similar to Symantec Ghost. It saves and restores only blocks in use on the hard drive if the file system is supported. For unsupported file systems, dd is used instead. It has been used to clone a 5 GB system to 40 clients in about 10 minutes.

Release Notes: The underlying GNU/Linux operating system was upgraded. This release is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2013/May/30). Partclone was updated to 0.2.61. With the "-k1" and "-icds" options enabled, if the used data blocks are within the partition boundary, it's now possible for a larger partition to be cloned to a smaller one. A bug where the postrun action could not be selected in expert mode was fixed.

The Gramplet view has been renamed to Dashboard. Different sidebar navigators can be installed. Ancestor Fan Chart View and Descendant Fan Chart View were added. All wizards were reworked, so the exporter dialog, help, and bug report dialog are different, but offer the same functions. Localization handling was complete reworked. More reports support output in a different language than the interface language.
