UCommon introduces some design patterns from Objective-C, such as reference counted objects, memory pools, and smart pointers. coastal-qt is a small collection of Qt 4/5 desktop applications built around a small Qt extension library. The library mostly focuses on missing features and services like OSD desktop notifications (with DBUS bindings) and offers some convenience classes for Qt. The current applications include a GUI man page viewer, a search tool, and a desktop user notification service daemon with multicast chat.

Release Notes: This release adds many UI bugfixes and optimizations. In particular, computation of chat text area is only performed initially and when the window state changes, rather than on every paint event.

If you are a registered user of Coverity's self-build server and have the cov-build tools installed locally, this script automates the process of running the tools and submitting the results with an analysis request to Coverity. It can be configured to store build passwords, local build commands, and other required information for multiple projects so you don't have to remember it - just call the tool and let it manage the details.

Release Notes: The -v option now preserves the build log for diagnostic purposes.

Lunzip is a decompressor for lzip files. Its small size makes it well suited for embedded devices or software installers that need to decompress files but do not need compression capabilities. Lunzip is able to decompress any lzip file using as little memory as 50 kB.

Release Notes: Decompression time has been reduced by 1%. The file version is now shown only if verbosity >= 4. The option "-n, --threads" is now accepted and ignored for compatibility with plzip. The "configure" script now accepts options with a separate argument.

mochad is a TCP gateway daemon for the X10 CM15A RF (radio frequency) and PL (power line) controller, the CM15Pro RF and PL controller, and the CM19A RF controller. The CM15Pro is the EU version of the CM15A. PL support includes extended dim and status query. Standard RF modules such as motion sensors and remote controls are supported. DS10A and MS10A RF security modules are supported. Ninja pan/tilt camera mounts can be controlled from mochad. The command line interface is well-suited for CGI scripts and cron jobs. mochad works well on embedded Linux systems such as OpenWRT and Chumby, so a PC is not required for always-on applications.

Release Notes: A "Could not find endpoints" problem was fixed.

AutoLaTeX is a tool for managing small to large LaTeX documents. It detects which files which are used to build the document (included TeX files, BibTeX, figures, etc.), and launches the various different tools (latex, bibtex, makeindex) when the sources files have been changed. It provides translation rules which automatically generate figures in EPS, PNG, or PDF formats from different types of sources (dia, xfig, svg, astah, source code, etc.) AutoLaTeX also provides graphical user interfaces, a plugin for the editors Gedit and Sublime Text, and a standalone Gtk application.

Release Notes: This release is a complete rewrite in Perl to avoid the use of GNU Make. The definitions of the figure translators are no longer based on a GNU Make syntax. INI-like and Perl syntaxes are used in their place. The commandline action "makeflat" has been added to produce a TeX document which is easier to upload to a publishers' website.
