Sanewall is a firewall builder for Linux that uses an elegant language abstracted to just the right level. This makes it powerful and easy to use, audit, and understand. It allows you to create very readable configurations even for complex stateful firewalls. Sanewall can be used for almost any purpose, including control of any number of internal/external/virtual interfaces, control of any combination of routed traffic, setting up DMZ routers and servers, all kinds of NAT, providing strong protection (flooding, spoofing, etc.), transparent caches, source MAC verification, blacklists, and whitelists. Newer versions abstract the differences between IPv4 and IPv6, allowing you to define a common set of rules for both, while permitting specific rules for each as you need. Sanewall is a fork of FireHOL and can make use of existing FireHOL configurations.
Release Notes: This development version includes the latest IPv4/IPv6 abstraction code. Please see the README to get started and for known issues, and report any problems to the mailing list.
nxlog is a modular, multi-threaded, high-performance log management solution with multi-platform support. In concept, it is similar to syslog-ng or rsyslog, but is not limited to Unix/syslog only. It can collect logs from files in various formats, receive logs from the network remotely over UDP, TCP, or TLS/SSL on all supported platforms. It supports platform-specific sources such as the Windows Eventlog, Linux kernel logs, Android device logs, local syslog, etc. Writing and reading logs to/from databases is also supported for many database servers. The collected logs can be stored into files, databases, or forwarded to a remote log server using various protocols. The old BSD Syslog and the newer IETF syslog standard (RFC 3164 and RFC 5424-5426) are fully supported by nxlog in addition to XML, JSON, CSV, GELF, and other custom formats. A key concept in nxlog is to be able to handle and preserve structured logs so there is no need to convert everything to syslog and then parse these logs again at the other side. It has powerful message filtering, log rewrite, and conversion capabilities. Using a lightweight, modular, and multi-threaded architecture which can scale, nxlog can process hundreds of thousands of events per second.
Release Notes: This release contains numerous stabilization fixes, including better handling of network errors. It compiles and runs on AIX and Solaris.

Release Notes: This release contains several new features and improvements. The main reason for a major release is the cleanup and some reorganization of the code.
MDIFramework provides a ready-to-use architecture to ease the creation MDI-style applications in Java. It takes care of the overall architecture of the main window of the application, with a tabbed architecture, the presence of an HTML printable message area, and so on. It provides a generic API to manage lengthy actions, keeping the interface responsive, and taking care that actions are performed one at a time, without having to bother about it. It can add metadata to already opened files. It manages loading and unloading of external plugins at runtime.
Release Notes: This release replaces the noui and complete versions of the distribution with: core, ui, and complete version. It adds a method to replace the component in the MDIApplication with another. It changes the signature of the FileProperties methods to deal with JComponents rather than Components. It adds a new MDIApplication that is also a JavaFX application (only working for JVMs >= 7.0). It also adds a new core release that contains this class.
GFeedLine is a social networking client. It supports Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr.
Release Notes: This release adds support for Tumblr and Twitter API 1.1.
The Java Algebra System (JAS) is an object oriented, type safe, multi-threaded approach to computer algebra. JAS provides a well designed software library using generic types for algebraic computations implemented in the Java programming language. The library can be used as any other Java software package, or it can be used interactively or interpreted through a Jython or JRuby front end. The focus at the moment is on commutative and solvable polynomials, power-series, multivariate polynomial factorization, Gröbner bases, and applications.
Release Notes: This release provides new algorithms for ideals in solvable polynomial rings in class SolvableIdeal, and new structures for solvable polynomial rings in classes SolvableQuotient, SolvableResidue, and the corresponding factories SolvableQuotientRing and SolvableResidueRing. There is a new theme for Ruby rdoc documentation, and the scripts have been adapted to a newer version of jruby (1.7.3). Some small fixes and improvements are included.

Any user can develop his or her own translation rules, and these rules are simply stored in a text file and applied at runtime.
Release Notes: This is a major release, and the biggest difference is that Sanzang commands have been consolidated into a single "sanzang" command suite program (single executable). The batch translation functionality has also been split out into its own "batch" subcommand. Multiprocessing support has been enhanced with better handling of multiprocessing capability detection, and with the introduction of a "-j" or "--jobs" flag. Several bugs have been fixed, including a translation table record sorting issue. Documentation has also gone through a major overhaul for this release.
