SymmetricDS provides file and database synchronization with support for multi-master replication, filtered synchronization, and transformation across the network in a heterogeneous environment. It supports multiple subscribers with one-direction or bi-directional, asynchronous data replication. It uses Web and database technologies to replicate data as a scheduled or near-realtime operation. The software has been designed to scale for a large number of nodes, work across low-bandwidth connections, and withstand periods of network outage. It works with most operating systems, file systems, and databases, including Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server (including Azure), IBM DB2, H2, HSQLDB, Derby, Firebird, Interbase, Informix, Greenplum, SQLite (including Android), Sybase ASE, and Sybase ASA (SQL Anywhere) databases.

Release Notes: This release includes 4 bugfixes, including a fix for sync keys on SQL-Server and table creation on SQLite.

Download Website 11 Mar 22:13 SBuild 0.4.0

SBuild is a Scala-based build system. It features platform independence, multi project support, automatic detection of needed actions, automatic up-to-date detection, a flexible scheme handler mechanism, Maven repository support, Ant task integration, automatic cross-project resolving of dependencies, high speed, a simple "syntax" that requires almost no Scala knowledge, behind-the-sceens compilation of build script to bytecode for fast execution time, and built-in scheme handlers for HTTP and Maven.

Release Notes: New features and speed improvements. Up-to-date state calculation of phony targets is now based on (virtual) lastModified timestamps, which can be overridden in a target via TargetContext. Phony targets can now be cached; SBuild will not reexecute them if the dependencies or the project file did not change. Additional files can be attached to targets. Empty phony targets will automatically attach all files of their dependencies and last but not least, the SBuild comand line has been improved. Essential information is highlighted with colors, and error message output has been enhanced.

No download Website 11 Mar 20:19 foo2hbpl 0.20130311

foo2hbpl is an open source printer driver for printers that use the HBPL version 2 wire protocol for their print data, such as the Dell 1355, Fuji Xerox DocuPrint CM205, or the Xerox WorkCentre 6015. These printers are often erroneously referred to as winprinters or GDI printers. However, Microsoft GDI only mandates the API between an application and the printer driver, not the protocol on the wire between the printer driver and the printer. In fact, HBPL printers are raster printers that happen to use a very efficient wire protocol. HBPL is just one of many wire protocols that are in use today, such as Postscript, PCL, Epson, ZjStream, etc. This driver uses Ghostscript to perform all of the heavy lifting (image processing). There are five major components to the foo2hbpl printer driver: foo2hbpl2 (the page image to protocol conversion engine of the driver); foo2hbpl2-wrapper (a shell script (compatible with foomatic) that runs ghostscript and foo2hbpl in a pipeline); icc2ps (converts an ICM color profile to a Postscript CRD, which is then fed into Ghostscript before the users Postscript program); foomatic-db (foomatic database entries that describe the supported printers and their options so that printer spoolers know how to access the printer using foo2hbpl2-wrapper); and hbpldecode (a tool for developers to inspect HBPL streams).

Release Notes: This release adds minor bugfixes.

Download Website 11 Mar 18:21 Password Manager Daemon 3.0

Password Manager Daemon serves clients data via a Unix domain socket or over a remote TLS connection. The data is stored in an (optionally) encrypted XML file, and the client must provide the key to modify it. It has the option to use gpg-agent for key management (including smartcards). It is multi-threaded, allowing more than one client to be connected at the same time. Key retrieval may be done via a key file or a pinentry program. A key cache is used, so a client won't need to enter a passphrase each time one is required. It is very configurable. Libpwmd is also available as a separate project and is a library making it easy for applications to use Pwmd.

Release Notes: This release can listen for TLS connections, supports gpg-agent (including smartcards), adds portability and stability fixes, and uses pthreads instead of libpth2. Please read the texinfo manual for protocol commands and syntax.

Download Website 10 Mar 19:11 libx1f4l2 1.20130309

libx1f4l2 is a data structures library. Featured are self balancing BSTs and self balancing BST backed lists. The BST (binary search tree) selection includes AVL, red/black, AA, and RBST trees in simple, parent pointer, and threaded flavors. The BST backed lists are all-purpose lists, allowing for sequential and random access. The complexity for most operations is log(N), including reading, inserting, and deleting, random or sequential. Other library features include pointer sets and tries. A collection of demo, test, and data structure comparison programs is included.

Release Notes: A new radix tree associative array breed is introduced. The array maps pointer for string keys. It organizes its dense nodes as lookup tables and the sparse nodes as sorted compact tables. The new structure generally performs better than similar structures that keep all nodes organized as sorted tables, except for deletion.
