Release Notes: New in this release is the update of the underlying Qt framework from version 4.8 to 5, which also updates the Webkit version used. Bookmarks can now be activated from the sidebar with a single click, and initial accessibility support (IA2, MSAA) has been added. In addition to this, the cookiejar has seen its share of bugfixes, including the 'cookies not sent on first load' and the duplicate cookies bugs. This is mostly a bugfix and framework/rendering engine update release. The next release should incorporate at least partial Chrome extension, history, and session support.
Fido is a multi-threaded file watcher which searches files in real time for user-defined patterns. When it locates a match, it runs a user-defined program. It is useful for monitoring log files for issues and responding to them. It was designed to recognize log file rotation and start monitoring from the beginning of the new file.
Release Notes: This release features a functional change. Fido will no longer exit if a configured file doesn't exist. It will happily cycle and start to monitor the file once it appears. This release also features several significant bugfixes. All users should upgrade to 1.0.8.

upstart is a replacement for the /sbin/init daemon that handles starting of tasks and services during boot, stopping them during shutdown, and supervising them while the system is running.
Release Notes: This release adds the ability to run with PID >1 to allow Upstart to manage a user session. Running Upstart as a 'Session Init' in this way provides features above and beyond those provided by the original User Jobs, such that the User Job facility has been removed entirely. To migrate from a system using User Jobs, simply ensure the user session is started with 'init --user'. There is a new upstart-event-bridge bridge that proxies system-level events down to Session Inits, allowing user jobs to react to udev events.

Clzip is a lossless data compressor based on the LZMA algorithm, with very safe integrity checking and a user interface similar to that of gzip or bzip2. Clzip decompresses almost as fast as gzip and compresses better than bzip2, which makes it well suited for software distribution and data archiving. Clzip uses the lzip file format; the files produced by clzip are fully compatible with lzip-1.4 or newer, and can be rescued with lziprecover. Clzip is, in fact, a C language implementation of lzip, intended for embedded devices or systems lacking a C++ compiler.
Release Notes: Compression ratio has been slightly increased. Compression time has been reduced by 10%. Decompression time has been reduced by 8%. The targets "install-as-lzip" and "install-bin" have been added to the Makefile.

GLB is a user-space TCP load balancer similar to Pen. It lacks most advanced Pen features, as the aim was to make a user-space TCP proxy that is as fast as possible. It can utilize multiple CPU cores. A list of destinations can be adjusted in runtime. Destination "draining" is supported. It supports "least connected", "round-robin", "random", and "source tracking" balancing policies.
Release Notes: This is a major feature and bugfix release. It has an optional watchdog module that can monitor destinations using custom service-specific scripts and update the routing table accordingly. It also can automatically discover newly added nodes in a Galera cluster and take them into use. There is a GLB_OPTIONS environment variable to allow configuration of libglb using the same command line options as for glbd. libglb initialization was not thread safe, and failed for applications that opened several connections simultaneously (e.g. sysbench); this has been fixed. A number of issues reported by valgrind have been fixed.
cmogstored is an alternative, C implementation of the "mogstored" storage daemon used for MogileFS storage nodes. This implementation allows MogileFS storage nodes to be deployed with a minimal memory/filesystem footprint with no additional runtime dependencies.
