Download Website 22 Mar 21:24 python-bitstring 3.1.1

bitstring is a Python module that helps to make the creation and analysis of binary data as simple and natural as possible. Objects can be constructed from integers (big and little endian), floats, hex, octal, binary, byte data, iterables, or files. They can be sliced, joined, reversed, packed, unpacked, inserted into, overwritten, and otherwise operated upon with simple functions or slice notation. They can also be parsed, searched, and navigated in, similar to a file or stream. Internally the data is efficiently stored as byte arrays. It is available for Python 2.6 and later (including Python 3).

Release Notes: This release fixes a bug in which bitstrings could be modified by being used in an append.

No download Website 22 Mar 21:23 CIL (C Intermediate Language) 1.6.0

CIL is a frontend for the C programming language which facilitates program analysis and transformation. CIL will parse and typecheck a program, and compile it into a simplified subset of C. For example, in CIL, all looping constructs are given a single form and expressions have no side effects. This reduces the number of cases which must be considered when manipulating a C program. CIL has been used for a variety of projects, including CCured, a tool which makes C programs memory safe. It supports ANSI C, as well as most of the extensions of the GNU C and Microsoft C compilers. A Perl script acts as a drop-in replacement for either gcc or Microsoft's cl, and allows merging of the source files in your project. Other features include support for control-flow and points-to analyses.

Release Notes: New features: support for static local variables and GCC’s "computed gotos" (or "labels as values"). Various bugfixes.

gzochi is a framework for developing massively multiplayer online games. A server container provides services to deployed games, which are written in Guile Scheme, that abstract and simplify some of the most challenging and error-prone aspects of online game development: Concurrency, data persistence, and network communications. A very thin client library can be embedded to provide connectivity for client applications written in any language.

Release Notes: This release adds important functionality to the transaction handling system in the gzochid container, enabling application transactions to time out and to be retried automatically. The Scheme API for defining managed record types has been simplified. A new reference client implementation which integrates easily with GNU GLib has been added.

Download Website 22 Mar 16:48 reposurgeon 2.28

A tool for editing version-control repository history, reposurgeon enables risky operations that version-control systems don't want to let you do, such as editing past comments and metadata and removing commits. It works with any version control system that can export and import git fast-import streams, including git, hg, bzr, CVS, and RCS. It can also read Subversion dump files directly, and can thus be used to script production of very high-quality conversions from Subversion to any supported DVCS.

Release Notes: This release adds a "reset" command like the tag command, a fix for the buggy debranch command, and more speed tuning.

No download Website 22 Mar 16:47 Bibfilex 0.1.6

Bibfilex is software to create and manage archives of bibliographical items (books, articles, etc.) according to Biblatex structure and rules. It is far less advanced than other bibliographic managers like JabRef, and allows only a few customizations. Its strength is speed and lightness, especially when used with many items. It uses SQLite as a database. It can store the items according to each of the entry types described in the Biblatex manual (book, article, etc.), import the content of a file in Biblatex format (like a JabRef database, a Mendeley BibTex exported file, or a Google Books BibTex downloaded file), export data to a Biblatex file (like a JabRef database), locate an item just typing its author name, title, etc. filter the items by selecting a keyword in a list, filter the items according to three different conditions (or to manually modify the SQL statement of the filter to make it more suitable or complex) or according to the \cite commands contained within a Latex document, associate various attachments (files of every kind) with each item, activate autocompletion of data in each field with “Ctrl + Space”, automatically create unique BibTex keys according to a pattern defined by the user, and specify the fields (columns) shown in the grid view of the data. It is also possible to replace the \cite and \printbibliography commands in a Latex document with extended citations and bibliography, which are composed according to a user-defined pattern, to export the Latex file in other formats more easily.

Release Notes: This release adds bugfixes and buttons to browse the items.

Download Website 22 Mar 10:48 CCruncher 2.2

CCruncher is a project for quantifying portfolio credit risk using the copula approach. It is a framework consisting of two elements: a technical document that explains the theory, and a software program that implements it. CCruncher evaluates the portfolio credit risk by sampling the portfolio loss distribution and computing the Expected Loss (EL), Value at Risk (VaR), and Expected Shortfall (ES) statistics. The portfolio losses are obtained simulating the default times of obligors and simulating the EADs and LGDs of their assets.

Release Notes: This release adds support for the Latin Hypercube Sampling method, increases overall program speed by a factor of 2-5, and solves a bug in the aggregation procedure.

Download Website 22 Mar 10:48 Siam Quantum 1.2.8

Siam Quantum (SQ) is a quantum chemistry program that calculates wave function and total energy of molecules. It currently supports Hartree-Fock and MP2 methods using Gaussian-type basis functions. Geometry optimization is also possible. The source code is well documented because it was initially designed for academic purposes so that students can easily understand. However, Siam Quantum can also produce high quality results for research purposes because the energies calculated are comparable to the ones produced by other software packages such as Gaussian or GAMESS, with the errors in the order of 10^-6 Hartrees, which can be further reduced with more strict cut-off.

Release Notes: The Minimum Energy Crossing Point (MECP) between two spin states can now be calculated.
