No download Website 12 Feb 02:22 Universal File Mover 1.0.2

Screenshot

Universal File Mover (UFM) manages the transfer of files. The user combines a series of Action commands to create the UFM Workflow XML file. These Action commands define which actions are to be taken, the order of the actions, and how errors are to be handled. UFM processes the Action commands as per the UFM Workflow XML file. UFM currently contains 41 Action commands. These action commands fall into five categories: WebSphere MQ Actions, Network Actions, File Actions, Control Actions, and Other Actions. UFM can transfer files in one of five ways, using WebSphere MQ, FTP, SFTP, SCP, or HTTP.

Release Notes: This release fixes an issue with the MQReceive action when the same file is received again but is smaller than the original.

Screenshot

cdrtools (formerly cdrecord) creates home-burned CDs/DVDs with a CDR/CDRW/DVD/BluRay recorder. It works as a burn engine for several applications. It supports CD/DVD/BD recorders from many different vendors; all SCSI-3/mmc- and ATAPI/mmc-compliant drives should also work. Supported features include IDE/ATAPI, parallel port, and SCSI drives; audio CDs, data CDs, and mixed CDs; full multi-session support; CD-RWs, DVD-R/-RW, DVD+R/+RW, BD-R/BD-RE; and TAO, DAO, RAW, and human-readable error messages. cdrtools includes remote SCSI support and can access local or remote CD/DVD/BD writers.

Release Notes: Two bugs in the UDF metadata have been fixed that caused mkisofs to cause bad file content in case a file > 4 GB was present while the -sort option was used. Cdda2wav no longer prints garbage when asking "load cdrom please and press enter", and a character other than NL was entered.

Download No website 11 Feb 23:34 Flawless 0.1.2

Screenshot

Flawless traps exceptions and then uses git blame to send an email to the developer who wrote the buggy code. Even if a particular line of code causes thousands of exceptions, only one email will be sent. It uses git-blame to figure out which developer is responsible for a particular exception, and will only email that developer. If you set report_only_after_minimum_date, then Flawless will only report exceptions caused by code modified after report_only_after_minimum_date. You can mark certain files/functions as library code, and when an exception originates in those files/functions, the caller will be blamed for the error instead of the library code.

Release Notes: Minor bugfixes.

Download Website 11 Feb 23:31 F*EX 20130211

Screenshot

F*EX (Frams' Fast File EXchange) is a Web based service for sending very big files from one person to another. The sender uploads the file to the F*EX server and the recipient automatically gets a notification email with a download URL. Files are automatically deleted after download or an expiration date. The recipient and sender only need an email program and a Web browser. Sending to multiple recipients needs storage on the server only once. In contrast with other file transfer services, it has no file size limits at all and comes with shell tools for scripting up/downloading.

Avatar

Release Notes: A user can now forward a file directly from incoming spool to other recipients. A new CAPTIVE mode has been added: if set, a user must not change his settings anymore. Name based virtual hosts are now possible: you can run several servers on the same IP and port, but with different hostnames. Several small bugs have been fixed.

Download Website 11 Feb 23:04 OpenBSD Network Shell 1.0

Screenshot

NSH is a CLI intended for OpenBSD-based network appliances. It replaces ifconfig, sysctl, and route with its own simple command language, and consolidates configuration for other daemons into one place, effectively replacing /etc/netstart and parts of /etc/rc for appliance-style usage. NSH presents the user with a vaguely Cisco-like interface with all configuration in one easy to read text list. It also gives the user access to system information and diagnostics. NSH replaces the userland commands that handle these functions, and talks directly to the OpenBSD kernel or control utility for daemon functionality. Supported external utilities: pf, ospfd, ospf6d, bgpd, ripd, ldpd, relayd, ipsecctl, iked, rtadvd, dvmrpd, sasyncd, dhcpd, snmpd, sshd, ntpd, ifstated, tftp-proxy, ftp-proxy, tftpd, npppd, resolv.conf, inetd, smtpd, ldapd, and ifstated.

Release Notes: Full routing table support across all supported commands, daemons, and routing configurations. All daemons and commands can now be used in any routing table. Multiple daemons can be configured to run, each within their own routing table with non-overlapping configuration. Full IPv6 support in interface and routing configuration. Use of SQLite as a back-end for temporal data. Support for tftpd, tftp-proxy, ospf6d, and npppd in the ctl handler. CARP and pfsync work properly now.

Release Notes: This release fixes the application exiting while the main window was hidden and the user was asked whether he/she wanted to download new patches, adds txz2sb (Ctrl+L) support when using QTGZ under Slax, and changes the patch’s download directory to /tmp. QTGZ can now open files which were removed from installed packages.

Download Website 11 Feb 02:39 dd_rescue 1.32

Screenshot

dd_rescue copies data from one file or block device to another. It is intended for error recovery, so by default, it doesn't abort on errors and doesn't truncate the output file. It uses large block sizes to quicken the copying, but falls back to small blocks upon encountering errors. It produces reports that allow you to keep track of bad blocks. dd_rescue features a number of optimizations, such as sparse block detection, preallocation, and Linux zerocopy (splice). It supports data protection by (multi-pass) overwriting of files or partitions with good and fast random numbers.

Avatar

Release Notes: This release adds two new options: -x facilitates appending to an output file, and -Y OUTFILE (can be specified multiple times) allows the user to specify secondary output files which receive the same data (at the same position) as the primary output file.
