Nephthys provides a Web interface to create file-sharing "buckets", through which data can be shared. Nephthys handles the buckets in the local filesystem of the server. Access and data transfer is made via FTP and WebDAV. Nephthys itself does not provide the access protocol, but relies on well known projects like Apache HTTPD (WebDAV) and ProFTPD (FTP).

Clonezilla is a partition or disk cloning tool similar to Symantec Ghost. It saves and restores only blocks in use on the hard drive if the file system is supported. For unsupported file systems, dd is used instead. It has been used to clone a 5 GB system to 40 clients in about 10 minutes.

Release Notes: The underlying GNU/Linux operating system was upgraded. This release is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2013/Jan/10). The multipath codes from Miracle Linux were merged. Now the cciss RAID card device is fully supported. makeboot.sh can now make a USB flash flash drive with NTFS, ext2/3/4, and btrfs bootable.

PHP OAuth API authorizes user access using the OAuth protocol. It abstracts OAuth 1.0, 1.0a, and 2.0 in the same class. It provides built-in support for popular OAuth servers: Bitbucket, Box.net, Dropbox, Eventful, Facebook, Fitbit, Flickr, Foursquare, github, Google, Instagram, LinkedIn, Microsoft, RightSignature, Scoop.it, StockTwits, Tumblr, Twitter, XING, and Yahoo!. Every other OAuth server is supported by setting an endpoint URLs and other parameters using specific class variables. The class can also send requests to an API using the previously-obtained OAuth access token. For servers which support offline access, the class can renew expired tokens automatically using refresh tokens.

Release Notes: The release fixes the way parameters are passed to LinkedIn API calls. It also adds support to Instagram, Scoop.it, and Fitbit APIs.

Check_MK is a complex addon for Nagios/Icinga and consists of three subprojects. The check and inventory system Check_MK is a general purpose Nagios plugin for retrieving data. It adopts a new approach for collecting data and obsoletes NRPE, check_by_ssh, NSClient, and check_snmp. It features a significant reduction of CPU use on the Nagios host and automatic inventory of items to be checked, and is especially useful with larger Nagios installations. "MK Livestatus" gives immediate and fast access to live and historic Nagios status data. It's a supported backend for many addons including NagVis, NagiosBP, and Thruk. "Check_MK Multisite" is a feature complete replacement for the Nagios GUI, and uses MK Livestatus as a backend. It is very fast, and supports efficient distributed monitoring.

Release Notes: This release comes with a huge number of bugfixes and also some feature changes in nearly all components. The biggest new feature is that it is now possible to connect the Web interface with an existing LDAP authentication system. Several usability and small feature improvements were made to several components like WATO and the Event Console.

Go! is a PHP 5.4 library that allows developers to add support for aspect-oriented programming (AOP) to their PHP applications. It doesn't require PECL extensions, Runkit, evals, or DI containers. The code with weaved aspects is fully readable and native, and can be easily debugged with XDebug. You can debug either classes or aspects. It can potentially be installed in every PHP application because you don't have to change the application source code at all. As an example, with the help of 10-20 lines of code it is possible to intercept all of the public, protected, and static methods in all classes of an application, and display the name and the arguments of each method during its execution.

Release Notes: Sum was added as an option for charting e.g. a line chart showing total income per month by product. Matplotlib scatterplots now have optimal min and max settings calculated for their x-axis. A footnote was added to Wilcoxon output explaining that different statistics packages may report the test statistic differently. Miscellaneous fixes were made to chart layout including left margin offset. It is now easier to add new variable definition files from within the dialog for choosing them. Recode column labels and help content were modified to reduce confusion about which columns to enter range information into.

Gujin is a PC boot loader that can analyze your partitions and filesystems. It finds the Linux kernel images available, as well as other bootable partitions (for *BSD, MS-DOS, Windows, etc.), files (*.kgz) and bootable disk images (*.bdi), and displays a graphical menu for selecting which system to boot. It boots the Linux kernel using the documented interface, like LILO and GRUB, so it doesn't need any other pre-installed bootloader. It can also directly load gzipped ELF32 or ELF64 files, with a simple interface to collect real-mode BIOS data. There is no need to execute anything after making a new kernel: just copy the kernel image file into the "/boot" directory, with a standard name. Gujin is written almost entirely in C with GCC, and it fully executes in real mode to be as compatible as possible.

Release Notes: This release improved the German translation, fixed problems with installing on OpenSuSE, improved detection of partition labels for filling the /boot/gujin.cmd file, and fixed a problem with generating the package on new Ubuntu versions.

An issue where $grid was not defined was fixed. set_col_edittype now works with non-integer keys. There were other minor fixes.

Siren Renamer is a tool that renames, moves, and copies files using an expression. A lot of information associated with a file can be used, including name, extension, dates, and selection number. Other information is extracted from files according to their type: audio, video, image (standard and raw), EXIF, IPTC, Office document, PDF, ePub, HTML, and many others. Many different operations can be performed on character strings, complete directory trees can be processed, and images can be viewed. For example, to change a file name to uppercase with the mp3 extension, the expression can be '%ub.mp3'.

Release Notes: This new version introduces a new modifier: group renaming. It allows you to use information from other files in a rename expression. The contextual help has been improved. Some bugs have been corrected.

fio is an I/O tool meant to be used both for benchmark and stress/hardware verification. It has support for 13 different types of I/O engines (sync, mmap, libaio, posixaio, SG v3, splice, null, network, syslet, guasi, solarisaio, and more), I/O priorities (for newer Linux kernels), rate I/O, forked or threaded jobs, and much more. It can work on block devices as well as files. fio accepts job descriptions in a simple-to-understand text format. Several example job files are included. fio displays all sorts of I/O performance information, including complete IO latencies and percentiles. Fio is in wide use in many places, for both benchmarking, QA, and verification purposes. It supports Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD, OS X, OpenSolaris, AIX, HP-UX, and Windows.

Release Notes: A few build issues were fixed on a few select platforms, where issues with CC override or missing CPU clock support would break compilation. Setting of size= for zipf/pareto workloads was fixed. Floating math for CPU clock was sped up and improved, further reducing overhead. A potential null pointer dereference on IO verification and requeue events was fixed.
