Siren Renamer is a tool that renames, moves, and copies files using an expression. A lot of information associated with a file can be used, including name, extension, dates, and selection number. Other information is extracted from files according to their type: audio, video, image (standard and raw), EXIF, IPTC, Office document, PDF, ePub, HTML, and many others. Many different operations can be performed on character strings, complete directory trees can be processed, and images can be viewed. For example, to change a file name to uppercase with the mp3 extension, the expression can be '%ub.mp3'.
Release Notes: File type "auto detection" for incorrect or unknown file extensions. Monitors changes of the current directory. Support for some new file types. Bug corrections. Minor modifications.
ProGuard is a shrinker, optimizer, obfuscator, and preverifier for Java bytecode. It detects and removes unused classes, fields, methods, and attributes. It optimizes methods and removes dead code. It renames the remaining classes, fields, and methods using short, meaningless names. Finally, it preverifies the processed code for Java 6 or higher, or for Java Micro Edition. The resulting code is more compact, more efficient, and more difficult to reverse-engineer. Advantages of ProGuard compared to other Java shrinkers and obfuscators are compact template-based configuration, memory efficiency, and speed. It is mostly popular for embedded development and for commercial development, and is integrated in Oracle's Wireless Toolkit, in Intel's TXE SDK, and in Google's Android SDK.
Release Notes: The optimization step can now simplify enum types, replacing the synthetic classes that the compiler generates by plain integer constants. This release also fixes a number of bugs, notably in class merging and method inlining.

pwgrep is a simple password manager that manages a database file using encryption of GnuPG. It uses encryption and version control on all of the passwords that are stored. The password database can be used on several hosts at once with automatic synchronization. Even several users can share the same password database. The versioning system will keep track of who was changing which entries and at which time. The versioning system to use can be configured (and is Subversion by default). Besides passwords, pwgrep can also be used for storing a collection of files like certificates. The file shredding command for secure deleting of temporary files can be configured. A local backup of all database changes is automatically made. It can be used without a GUI (such as through an SSH session).
Release Notes: This release adds a SNAPSHOTDIR config option to use a custom directory for database snapshots (e.g. every time a database is going to be manipulated, the previous version is stored to ~/.pwgrep.snapshots/). This helps one find old passwords in the case of any RCS merge conflicts in the central repository.
Aspose.Cells for Android is a MS Excel spreadsheet component that allows programmer to develop Android applications for reading, writing, and manipulating Excel spreadsheets (XLS, XLSX, XLSM, SpreadsheetML, CSV, tab delimited) and HTML file formats without needing to rely on Microsoft Excel. Pride combines bash scripts, zenity, ant, ImageMagick, and the Android tools to create a fast and simple POSIX alternative for Android development. It provides all the basic commands (clean, build, release, etc.) of other Android IDEs. But it is primarily a robust and simple injection framework. Injections from methods to clusters of activities are easily created from existing code and can then be injected into any project. Pride can also be used to batch build, load, or release multiple projects and can update class and resource files among projects that use the same objects or resources.
Release Notes: Clone was added to the project menu. Any existing, un-hidden project can be cloned in order to create a similar app. The script properly sets the namespace and makes the cloned app the current project, which should be in buildable condition.
