aime is a simple, C-like programming language and an interpreter, both designed to be embeddable in applications. The language is straightforward, trivial, and direct. Its syntax is simpler than that of C, while still providing for full object management, higher order functions, and references. The interpreter is secure and expressive, allowing comprehensive control over program execution and providing powerful methods of application integration.

Opendedup is a deduplication-based filesystem and block device designed to provide inline deduplication and flexiblity for applications. It benefits services such as backup, archiving, NAS storage, and Virtual Machine primary and secondary storage, and can be deployed in both a stand alone and distributed, multi node configuration. Standalone, it provides inline deduplication, replication, and unlimited snapshot capabilities. In a multi-node configuration, it adds global intra-volume deduplication, block storage redundancy, and block storage expandability. and will store and share unique data blocks with other volumes within the cluster. These volumes can also specify a level of redundancy for data stored in the cluster.

VLC media player is a multimedia player, framework, streamer, and encoder. It can play inputs like files, network streams, DVDs, audio CDs, Blu-Rays, capture devices, and screens. It can play most audio and video codecs and formats (MPEG 1/2/4, H264, VC-1, DivX, WMV, Vorbis, AC3, AAC, MKV, etc.), but can also be used to convert to different formats and/or send streams through the network.
Release Notes: This version fixed a number of bugs and regressions, notably in audio device management and SPDIF/HDMI pass-through. It also fixed some HEVC playback issues and a few crashes. A few codecs and most translations were updated.
git-info-bar is a ksh, bash, gitbash, and Git shell plugin that endeavors to provide a fast and pronounced view of various git attributes when you are under the umbrella of a git repository. Its main feature, the 'info bar' (information bar), displays the following information: current branch (in 'red' if on master); current cksum (in 'red' if there are uncommitted changes, and an 'uncommitted changes' message in the message area); and stash count in the message area if you have stashes. It includes an install script and removal scripts. It is currently only tested in Bash, GitBash and ksh93. It was previously named 'bash-git', but the name has been transitioned to 'git-info-bar', as a long-term goal is cross-shell compatibility using a Perl back-end.
Release Notes: The plugin no longer complains about invalid stashes when under the .git directory, namely 'fatal: /usr/lib/git-core/git-stash cannot be used without a working tree'.
Lynis is an auditing and hardening tool for Unix derivatives like Linux/BSD/Solaris. It scans systems to detect software and security issues. Besides security-related information, it will also scan for general system information, installed packages, and possible configuration mistakes. The software is aimed at assisting automated auditing, software patch management, and vulnerability and malware scanning of Unix-based systems.
Release Notes: FileExists() and SearchItem() functions were added. The yum-security check and iptables binary check were improved, and the report was extended to show which tests have been executed or skipped.
Aspose.Email for Java is a Java component for reading and writing Microsoft Outlook MSG files without using Outlook. It can create and update MSG files, and retrieve properties such as subject, body, recipients, attachments, sender information, MAPI properties. It can be used with Web or desktop applications.
Release Notes: The ability to add a color category to an Outlook MESSAGE file was added. The API’s FollowUpManager class provides methods that add, remove, and list the color categories associated with a MSG file. A number of bugs related to MSG conversion for various formats such as EML, MHTML, and TIFF were fixed along with bugs with reading Outlook appointments and PST operations.
Less.php is a PHP port of the official LESS CSS compiler. To produce the same results as the official compiler and to make future updates more manageable, most of the code structure in less.php remains the same as the official codebase.
Release Notes: This is the first in a series of releases that make less.php compatible with less.js 1.5.1. Sourcemap support is still on the drawing board.
CVSps collect changesets from CVS repositories. It can be used either by humans to inspect changesets or as an exporter from CVS to other version control systems - it can be told to emit a fast-export stream to standard output. The code has been end-of-lifed and using cvs-fast-export instead is recommended.
Release Notes: Dodgy use of tmpnam() was eliminated. The documentation is now truthful about --convert-ignores.
Chocolate Doom is a Doom source port which aims to behave as closely as possible to the original DOS Doom executables ("Vanilla Doom"). It aims to be compatible with DOS Doom demos, configuration files, savegames, and bugs. As far as possible, it provides the same features that are available in the DOS version, along with the same "feel" of the original game.
Release Notes: This new major release adds support for three other Doom engine-based games: Heretic, Hexen, and Strife. This version is released in celebration of Doom's 20th anniversary.
TAO Translator (formerly, The Advanced Online Translator) uses online translation services to provide translations. Currently supported services: Google Translate (supports translation, language detection, dictionary, and reverse translations for single words); Microsoft Translator, a.k.a. Bing Translator (supports translation only); Yandex.Translate (supports translation and language detection); and Yandex.Dictionaries (supports dictionary with synonyms and reverse translations). More services are possible in the future.
Release Notes: Support for swapping languages was added. A missing CA certificate that caused a SSL handshake error with Yandex.Translate was fixed. Error handling and sorting of languages by name were also added to Yandex.Translate.

Aurora-Sim is the next generation of the OpenSimulator Project. It allows you to run a large scale operation and extend it as needed, while still having many features available for your use. The architecture is designed to be as flexible as possible so that third parties can create modules by plugging into the modular design. It is cross-platform compatible by using the .NET framework and Mono. Most importantly, it is a community based project consisting of individuals with a variety of talents (technical and non-technical) and has been developed with an emphasis on security, speed, and performance.

P* (P-star) is a Web programming language that incorporates common tasks like template handling and database queries into the language. It features MySQL database access with prepared statements, HTML templates, standard arithmetic and variables, functions, structs, (to-be-classes), JSON output, and GET and POST. Programs can be run on the command line, in a CGI environment, or by the P* Apache Module.
Release Notes: This release adds a new Apache module for improved performance, and CGI is no longer needed (but still supported). The module takes advantage of Apache's internal memory structures for fast output. Parsed programs are cached in memory and re-used in concurrent accesses.
OrientDB is a NoSQL DBMS which can store 150,000 documents per second on common hardware. Even with a document-based database, the relationships are managed as in graph databases, with direct connections among records. You can traverse entire or parts of trees and graphs of records in a few milliseconds. It supports schema-less, schema-full, and schema-mixed modes, has a strong security profiling system based on users and roles, and supports SQL between the query languages. Thanks to the SQL layer, it's straightforward to use for people skilled in the relational world.
