Jolokia is a fresh way of accessing JMX MBeans remotely. It is different from JSR-160 connectors, as it is an agent based approach that uses JSON over HTTP for its communication. It provides new features for JMX remoting: bulk requests allow for multiple JMX operations with a single remote server roundtrip, there is a fine-grained security mechanism for restricting JMX access on specific JMX operations, JSR-160 proxy mode, and history tracking, to name a few. Jolokia's origins are in jmx4perl. Client bindings in addition to Perl have already been added, and more are planned.

Lynis is an auditing and hardening tool for Unix derivatives like Linux/BSD/Solaris. It scans systems to detect software and security issues. Sanzang is a compact and simple cross-platform machine translation system. It is especially useful for translating from the CJK languages (Chinese, Japanese, and Korean), and it is very suitable for working with ancient and otherwise difficult texts. Unlike most other machine translation systems, Sanzang is small and approachable. Any user can develop his or her own translation rules, and these rules are simply stored in a text file and applied at runtime.
Release Notes: This is mostly a bugfix release, with the main item being handling of error reporting when a file descriptor is nil, or when a file cannot be written to. The build process has also overgone an overhaul for greater clarity and portability.
