Download Website 10 Nov 21:05 libcsdbg 1.11-pc

Screenshot

libcsdbg is a C++ exception stack tracer. When an exception is thrown, caught, and handled, libcsdbg offers the tools to create and process the exception stack trace, the path the exception has propagated up the call stack, unwinding it up to the section were it was handled. The traces are detailed with demangled function signatures and additional addr2line information (the source code file and line from which each function was called). libcsdbg can use all the well-known objective code file formats (a.out, elf, coff, ecoff, etc.) and can easily be used as the base for your own instrumentation code. libcsdbg transparently loads the symbol tables of the chosen dynamic libraries and of the executable, demangles function symbols to complete signatures, and binds function names to runtime addresses (even for the DSO symbols).

Release Notes: This release involves the precompiled library (for version 1.11), complete with examples and full documentation. There are two versions, both for x86_64 Linux systems, one release and one debug. These files reside in the project repository in files/1.1 (prefixed with 'x86_64-linux-')

Download Website 10 Nov 21:04 Upsilon 0.128.0

Screenshot

Upsilon is a distributed, flexible, and extensible system monitoring application. Being distributed means you run service checks on Upsilon nodes in your network where it makes sense, either on every server or on a management network, inside or outside the firewall. You can run checks on secure, hard to reach networks, and push those results to a central server. You can optionally execute "agentless" checks just by using SSH. Being flexible means that if you can script it, you can monitor it. Unlike most monitoring systems, the monitoring scripts are external to the main server, so you can use Upsilon to execute your monitoring scripts in an extremely robust way. Upsilon has been used to monitor many different things and is API-compatible with all nagios monitoring scripts. Being extensible means you can add monitoring checks to Upsilon at runtime without needing to restart the server. The upsilon-node and upsilon-web projects both have their own REST APIs.

Release Notes: This is a very minor release for end users. Peer updates can now be forced via the REST API (and upsilon-force-peer-update) The scheduler items have been re-arranged so that adding services and testing configs on startup will be quicker. Google's Guava has been removed, slightly reducing the file size.

The fully-featured XFCE4 desktop has software for browsing, email, word processing, multimedia, chat, games, and more.

Avatar

Release Notes: This release updates the toolchain to Gentoo's hardened gcc-4.7.3-r1 and the kernel to hardened-sources-3.11.6-r2. Numerous packages were also updated to stay in sync with mainstream Gentoo, including python-2.7.5 and 3.2.5, which were previously masked. However, no new packages were included.
