PDO4You is a class that implements the Singleton design pattern for connecting the database using the PDO extension (PHP Data Objects). It provides an abstraction layer for accessing data, regardless of which database you are using, and ensures that there is a single object instance per database connection. It can connect to several possible SQL databases using the available PDO drivers. Currently it supports MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, MariaDB, Oracle, Microsoft SQL server, Sybase, and CUBRID (a database highly optimized for Web applications). The class can also execute multiple queries at once given a string in JSON format that specifies the type of query, the tables, fields, field values, conditions, etc.

Release Notes: This release adds support for Composer.

Much of the ground-work for module caching has been done, although this feature is still buggy. Support for flag-driven tracing has been added. Numerous extension modules have been added. A Mersenne PRNG module has been added. The test framework has been enhanced to support composite tests. The Wurld OpenGL example program was added. The codebase has been ported to use LLVM 3.3. Annotation semantics in generics has changed.

No download No website 08 Oct 22:02 numactl 2.0.9

numactl implements simple NUMA policy support. A NUMA policy allows you to tune programs by controlling the placement of memory in NUMA (Non Uniform Memory Access) systems. The numactl program runs other programs with a specific NUMA policy, and the libnuma shared library ("NUMA API") can be used to set NUMA policy in applications. Libnuma is the preferred interface to the Linux kernel NUMA policy system calls. The package also has various tools, like numastat to decode the kernel NUMA statistics.

No download Website 08 Oct 22:00 Data2l 1.41

Data2l is a language neutral, platform neutral way for describing large sets of proprietary binary data. An example of this kind of data is car navigation data, which is about 1GB to 15GB in a typical embedded navigation. With Data2l you can easily describe almost any binary data format using primitive description blocks like basic type, array, structure, or alternative and using a functional dependency description language. Using such a description, one can generate source code optimized for certain tasks, like a lightweight data reading layer, fast querying code, or code suitable for data generation and transformation.

Release Notes: This release has been open sourced under the GNU GPL.
