Siege is a regression test and benchmark utility. It can stress test a single URL with a user defined number of simulated users, or it can read many URLs into memory and stress them simultaneously. The program reports the total number of hits recorded, bytes transferred, response time, concurrency, and return status. Siege supports HTTP/1.0 and 1.1 protocols, GET and POST directives, cookies, transaction logging, and basic authentication. Its features are configurable on a per user basis.

Release Notes: This release fixes several bugs related to HTTP POST. Extra white space that could work its way into the request from user inputs has been eliminated. A memory leak in POST requests has been closed. -T/--content-type now works as expected.

OGLplus is a header-only library that implements a thin object-oriented facade over the OpenGL (version 3 and higher) C-language API. It provides wrappers that automate the resource and object management and make the use of OpenGL in C++ safer and easier.

Release Notes: The Group<Object> class template for grouping externally managed objects was added, together with specializations implementing ARB_multi_bind operations on Buffer, Sampler, and Texture. The DSAFramebufferEXT, DSARenderbufferEXT, and DSAVertexArrayEXT classes implementing direct-state-access operations were added. A new example was added, and one of the older examples was updated to show the usage of the direct-state-access classes. The FOLDER properties were added to the build system to put targets into solution folders when they are supported.

Release Notes: Stendhal 1.11 was released with a big party. Celebrate in the game with costumes, food, quests, and puzzles at this year's Mine Town Revival Weeks. A paperchase quest will lead players all over the world to discover interesting places, but be careful, since kobolds and slime lurk in the mines. Other changes include icons next to NPCs, who trade items or heal, to make them easier to discover.

Marvin is an extensible image processing framework for Java. It provides features to manipulate images, to manipulate captured video frames, and to process images with multi-threading. Its features can be extended via plug-ins. Plug-ins can be integrated with the graphical user interface, and their plug-in performance can be analyzed. Every image processing algorithm is developed as a plug-in that can be plugged into the MarvinEditor, an image manipulation program that uses plug-ins developed using Marvin, or into third-party applications. Currently there are 55 plug-ins available.

Salad (short for Letter Salad) is an efficient and flexible implementation of the well-known anomaly detection method Anagram by Wang et al. (RAID 2006). Salad is based on n-gram models, that is, data is represented as all of its substrings of length n. During training these n-grams are stored in a Bloom filter. This enables the detector to represent a large number of n-grams in little memory and still being able to efficiently access the data. Salad extends Anagram by allowing various n-gram types, a 2-class version of the detector for classification, and various model analysis modes.

Clonezilla is a partition or disk cloning tool similar to Symantec Ghost. It saves and restores only blocks in use on the hard drive if the file system is supported. For unsupported file systems, dd is used instead. It has been used to clone a 5 GB system to 40 clients in about 10 minutes.

Release Notes: The underlying GNU/Linux operating system was upgraded. This release is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2013/Oct/14). The drbl package was updated to 2.5.12-drbl1, and clonezilla was updated to 3.7.15-drbl1. Samba was updated to 4.0.10. A slash was added to the sshfs command to avoid a remote issue. An issue where some services were not disabled successfully when the live system was created was fixed.
