XML-GrammarBase provides CPAN authors with some tested base classes and roles (also known as traits in other languages) for writing validators and processors for XML grammars, wrapping more lower level CPAN XML-handling modules.

pcapfix is a repair tool for corrupted pcap and pcapng files. It checks for an intact pcap global header and packet block and repairs it if there are any corrupted bytes. If a header is not present, one is created and added to the beginning of the file. It then tries to find pcap packet headers or packet blocks, and checks and repairs them.
Release Notes: This release really fixes a file pointer exception on Windows 64-bit systems and updates the man page.
XOWA is a desktop application that can read and edit English Wikipedia offline. It displays articles in an HTML browser, and can download images on demand. It can also be used for Wiktionary, Wikisource, Wikiquote, and the non-English counterparts.
Release Notes: This release bundles all files into one zip file for Linux/Windows. It also includes a one-click install for Simple Wikipedia.
Timeline is a cross-platform application for displaying and navigating events on a timeline.
Release Notes: The abilty to define URLs on events and execute "Goto URL" to open a Web browser. Implements a 'fit week' navigation function. Help text has been added to describe vertical movement of events. The build script generates a zip file with only LF as line endings in files. Year 0 has been removed from Timeline display when using extended date range.
documentr is a Web-based tool for editing and presenting software documentation. It allows you to easily maintain documentation for multiple products and product branches. Edits can easily be copied between branches, with merge conflicts being handled gracefully. It uses Markdown as its markup language, along with some extensions, and has a role-based permission system.

MDIUtilities provides a set of utility classes that can be used for desktop application development. It contains a network preferences implementation, XML utility classes, geometry utility classes, additional Swing classes, and other miscellaneous classes.

JasperStarter is a commandline launcher and batch compiler for JasperReports. It can run any JasperReport that needs a JDBC, CSV, or empty data source, use any database for which a JDBC driver is available, execute reports that need runtime parameters, print directly to the system default or a given printer, optionally show a printer dialog to choose a printer, optionally show a print preview, export to file in the PDF, RTF, .docx, .odt, and HTML formats, export multiple formats in one commanding call, print and export in one commanding call, and integrate in non-Java applications (for example PHP, Python) A binary executable is available for Windows. JapserStarter is able to prompt for report parameters. Any parameter whose class has a string constructor is accepted. Additionally, the following types are supported or have special handlers: date, image (see usage), and locale.

msgparser is a small Java library that parses Outlook .msg files and provides their content using Java objects.

EGSL is a small interpreter which can execute Lua scripts. It includes some functions for fast and easy game development. These are image manipulation functions, functions for 2D drawing, sound and music, input via mouse, keyboard, and joypad, and some helper functions. The engine is based on SDL, SDL_gfx, and SDL_mixer, and additionally on SDL_image on Haiku-OS.
Release Notes: It is now possible to change the font and colours of the editor. In this release, a simple and easy to use particle system was integrated. In addition to bitmap fonts, now SDL monofonts can be used. Text can be drawn in different colors (it was previously only possible with the built-in font). A few monofonts can be downloaded from the homepage. On Linux and Windows, this release uses Lua 5.2.

Patchwork is a PHP library that makes it possible to redefine user-defined functions and methods at runtime, replicating the functionality of runkit_function_redefine in pure PHP 5.3 code. It allows you to, among other things, replace static and private methods with test doubles.

FBReaderJ is an e-book reader for the Android platform. It is a clone of the FBReader book reader written in Java by the same authors. FBReaderJ supports several e-book formats: oeb, epub, and fb2. Direct reading from zip, tar, and gzip archives is supported.

Thumbnailator is a thumbnail generation library with a fluent interface for Java. It simplifies the process of producing thumbnails from existing image files and image objects by providing an API which allows for fine tuning of thumbnail generation, while keeping the amount of code that needs to be written to a minimum.
Release Notes: This release added support for using the Exif metadata embedded in the source image to properly orient the thumbnail.
The Port Scan Attack Detector (psad) is a collection of three system daemons that are designed to work with the Linux iptables firewalling code to detect port scans and other suspect traffic. It features a set of highly configurable danger thresholds (with sensible defaults), verbose alert messages, email alerting, DShield reporting, and automatic blocking of offending IP addresses. Psad incorporates many of the packet signatures included in Snort to detect various kinds of suspicious scans, and implements the same passive OS fingerprinting algorithm used by p0f.

Dough is a personal budgeting application. It's designed to be both simple and attractive whilst being very effective at helping you keep in control of your spending. It features an attractive, to the point user interface with plenty of visual elements. It has many options for filtering and searching transactions, can import your bank statements, and you can make graphs of pretty much anything.
Release Notes: A bug where files would sometimes not load was fixed, along with a problem where account balances would sometimes be totally out. This was due to the internal ledger based accounting system not adding transactions on the last day of the month. The budget can now be reviewed as a bar graph, which can be exported to a PNG image file.
Nova is a software application for preventing and detecting hostile network reconnaissance (such as nmap scans). It does this by first creating the Haystack: a large collection of low interaction honeypots using an updated version of Honeyd. Finding real machines on the network becomes like finding a needle in a haystack of fake machines. Second, Nova uses machine learning algorithms to automatically detect and classify attempts at hostile reconnaissance, so there's no need to go searching manually through your honeypot's log files. It provides an easy to use Web-based interface powered by Node.js to configure itself and Honeyd instances.
