Finit is a small SysV init replacement with process supervision similar to that of daemontools and runit. Its focus is on small and embedded GNU/Linux systems, although it is fully functional on standard server and desktop installations. Finit is fast because it starts services in parallel; it then supervises and automatically restarts them if they fail. This can be extended upon with custom callbacks for all services, hooks into the boot process, or plugins to extend the functionality and adapt Finit to your needs. Finit is not only fast, it’s arguably one of the easiest to get started with. A complete system can be booted with one simple configuration file.
Release Notes: This release featured a cleanup of the public plugin API, with some new functions. A plugin hook was added to the end of service startup. Installation now defaults to /sbin/finit and /usr/, not /usr/local. Makefile installation paths were fixes. Binaries and .so files are now stripped, and support for $(CROSS) toolchain stripping was added. Better support was provided for distributions and packagers with install-exec, install-data, and install-dev targets in Makefile. This is useful with different $DESTDIRs.
GoAnywhere Services allows trading partners and employees to securely connect to your organization and easily download or upload files. Popular file transfer and encryption standards are supported without the need for proprietary client software. It supports FTP, SFTP, FTPS, HTTP, and HTTPS, provides a pure Web client for simple file transfers, includes event triggers based on user-defined conditions, generates detailed audit logs and alert messages, provides trading partners with account wizards and permission controls, features an intuitive browser-based interface for remote administration and monitoring, and requires no programming or special skills.
Release Notes: Highlights in this release include new virtual folders and SMB network shares. Virtual folders give trading partners access to specific files and folders with permissions set for read, write, rename, or delete. These folders can be made private for a specific partner or shared with multiple partners. Network shares let administrators define connections to other file servers on diverse platforms in the organization’s network using the popular SMB/CIFS protocol.
"aura" is a desktop (X root window) background setter. It picks images randomly from specified paths, skipping those that are too small or have inappropriate aspect ratios, and rescales them by cropping solid margins, resizing with cubic interpolation and then the liquid rescale algorithm to fit the desktop with as little quality loss as possible. Images are labelled in the corner using embedded tags. It can changes images on a timed basis or when triggered by SIGHUP or the CLI, and tracks previous and blacklisted images.
Release Notes: This release adds support for the enlightenment (e17) desktop environment.

It comes with an easy-to-use API (pure .NET and Java) plus assorted applications and tools.
Release Notes: This cleanup release focuses on upgrades of the underlying components.
Fqutils provides a basic set of bioinformatics command line tools for working with sequence data in FASTQ format. It complements Greg Hannon's fine Fastx Toolkit suite. One characteristic of Fqutils is that it correctly handles the full FASTQ format as described by the published standard, which specifically allows multi-line sequence and quality score information per record. Fqutils is intended to be useful as part of the early portions of post-sequencing pipelines and quality assessment processes.
Release Notes: This initial 0.4 release adds fqu_cull for extracting a subset of a FASTQ stream. It also adds man pages.
Release Notes: Infobox is now also available for the current directory. The description of the current directory is now displayed without the need to go to the parent one.
Release Notes: This is a maintenance release.

There's now support for protcocol-relative links when enqueuing scripts and styles. Updates have been applied to SimplePie, jQuery, jQuery UI, and TinyMCE, and newly-added Underscore and Backbone libraries. A revamped Media Library is still in development.
DNSCrypt OSX Client is a user interface to conveniently start/stop dnscrypt-proxy and change DNS settings. It was specifically designed to use DNSCrypt with the OpenDNS public DNS resolvers. It includes a preference pane, a menu bar indicator, and a set of scripts for interacting with the system.
Release Notes: Static default DNS resolvers are now supported, and outgoing queries can be logged. A new feature let you use your own OpenDNS network settings no matter what actual network you are connected to. Local blacklists have been implemented, and allow you to quickly block queries matching substrings and responses containing specific IP addresses. A list of exceptions which should bypass DNSCrypt and be resolved by a local server can be now specified.
The DSI utilities are a mixed collection of classes accumulated during the last ten years in projects developed at the DSI (Dipartimento di Scienze dell'Informazione, i.e., Information Sciences Department) of the Università degli Studi di Milano.
Release Notes: Several methods in Fast now use equivalent methods in Integer/Long or have just been deprecated in favor of their copies, as recent JVMs intrinsify such methods. The Ivy dependency file has been Maven-normalized (there's now a "compile" scope instead of a "build" scope).
fastutil extends the Java Collections Framework by providing type-specific maps, sets, lists, and queues for Java with a small memory footprint and fast access and insertion. It also provides big (64-bit) arrays, sets and lists, and fast, practical I/O classes for binary and text files.
Release Notes: In some very rare circumstances, enumeration of hash sets or maps combined with massive element removal (using the iterator remove() method) could have led to inconsistent enumeration. This has been fixed.
Groonga is a fast and accurate full text search engine based on an inverted index. Newly registered document instantly appears in search results, and updates are allowed without read locks. These characteristics result in superior performance for real-time applications. It is also a column-oriented database management system (DBMS). Compared with well-known row-oriented systems, such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, column-oriented systems are more suited for aggregate queries.
Release Notes: This release supports load commands by POST requests, lets you use reorganized packages which are GQTP/HTTP protocol-based for server use, supports the min() and max() functions, and lets you customize search results by using these functions as thresholds.
