Taskwarrior (formerly known as task) is a command-line to do list manager. It is scope-limited to GTD functionality and features tags, colorful tabular output, reports and graphs, lots of commands, completion, 256-colors, themes, multi-user file locking, and recurring tasks.

GNUtrition is free nutrition analysis software written for the GNU operating system. The US Department of Agriculture, Nutrient Database of Standard Reference is used as the source of food nutrient information.
Release Notes: GNUtrition will now periodically check gnu.org and notify you when a new version is available. The USDA data has been updated to the latest version, SR24. The minimum Python version has been increased to version 2.6. GNUtrition is not compatible with Python 3 at this time. GNUtrition now uses the built-in SQLite3 Python module, and the database has been converted to SQLite. Your existing database will be converted automatically. Once that's complete, you no longer need to run a MySQL server for GNUtrition, eliminating a dependency. The new database is stored in ~/.gnutrition.
TOMUSS allows multiple users to edit the same spreadsheet table with their Web browsers. It stores the complete history of the table modification. TOMUSS is intended to be used by teachers to enter ranking and to allow students to see their ranks.

pngcrush is an excellent batch-mode compression utility for PNG images. Depending on the application that created the original PNGs, it can improve the file size anywhere from a few percent to 40% or more (completely losslessly). The utility also allows specified PNG chunks (e.g. text comments) to be inserted or deleted, and it can fix incorrect gamma info written by Photoshop 5.0 as well as the erroneous iCCP chunk written by Photoshop 5.5.
