jGnash is a personal finance application written in Java. Java 7 is required. jGnash supports several account types, including investment accounts. It has support for split transactions, nested accounts, scheduled transactions, commodities, and currencies. It can import OFX and QIF files, excluding investment accounts and transactions. Data is stored in an XML format so it is easy to manipulate and read the data external to the program. jGnash also has scripting support to add custom reports and functionality.

Release Notes: OS-specific bugfixes for Windows and Linux systems. Reduced memory usage and automatic account matching for imported bank transactions.

It uses JACK to output audio, and supports MIDI, OSC and IRC bot for input. din can be extended and customized with Tcl scripts.

It has a powerful segmented downloading ability, downloading a file from multiple sources and multiple protocols and utilizing your download bandwidth to the maximum. It supports downloading a file from HTTP(S)/FTP and BitTorrent at the same time, while the data downloaded from HTTP(S)/FTP is uploaded to the BitTorrent swarm. Using Metalink's chunk checksums, aria2 automatically validates chunks of data while downloading a file like BitTorrent.

Release Notes: This release fixes several critical bugs and adds new features such as TLS SNI and CORS support. The --file--allocation option now takes another value, "trunc". The new option --enable-mmap has been added. aria2 now uses system-wide SSL/TLS certificates by default, which eliminates the requirement to specify the --ca-certificate option.

pmcyg is a tool for creating customized collections of Cygwin packages together with the Cygwin installer. This enables self-contained distributions to be created without having to mirror the entire set of Cygwin packages. For example, it can create a single CD-ROM or DVD from which a personalized version of Cygwin can be installed on machines not connected to the Web. A basic installer can be created in less than 25MB; a full set of Cygwin packages might fill a DVD-ROM; or a selection of packages can be constructed to suit your chosen installation medium. pmcyg will then download these and all their dependencies automatically. pmcyg can be used either as a command-line script or via a simple graphical interface.

Release Notes: Usability as a Python add-on module was improved. An example automatic download and update script was added. Handling of source-only Cygwin packages (e.g., boost, pixman) was improved.

Release Notes: This release doesn't archive sockets, as this ruins the return value which it depends on from tar. OpenBSD 5.2 images are available.
