Mascot is a style checker for Objective Caml sources. It checks for overloading of built-in elements, useless constructs, deeply nested constructs, 'open' statements, magic numbers, complex conditions, presence of comments, spelling, empty interfaces and the number of exported elements, coupling, Halstead, and McCabe metrics, matching of regular expressions, and spaces, tabulation, headers, and file/line lengths. It supports CheckStyle, CSV, HTML, JDepend, bare text, and XML outputs, and supports plugins for custom checks and outputs.

Release Notes: Support for checks based on binary annotations, and for binary output mode have been added. Two new checks ('catch_all' to detect patterns catching all exceptions, and 'code.ignore_unit' check to detect application of 'ignore' to expression whose type is 'unit') have been added. Numerous bugs have been fixed. The codebase has been updated for OCaml 4.00.0.

Mutt Folder List is a mutt patch that adds a sidebar showing all mail folders and the total and number of new messages each contains. It allows users to hide or display the sidebar with a single keystroke, and optionally highlights folders with new messages. Users can scroll up and down the list of folders and open the selected folder, and configure the sidebar width, colors, and key bindings.

Release Notes: The sidebar patch was updated for mutt 1.5.21. 16 patches were incorporated from Julius Plenz and his mutt sidebar patch improvements blog.

Release Notes: Mail filters (Sieve) are no longer conditional on each other. The tasks list display was improved. The transition from text/plain message templates to HTML was completed. New packages were provided for Debian 7.0 (Wheezy). It also fixed passwords prefixed with {none} when not using a password algorithm, handling of duplicated contacts in contact lists, handling of exception dates with time zones in recurring events, validation of the interval in daily recurring events with a day mask covering multiple days, and name quoting when sending invitations.

Sally is a tool for mapping a set of strings to a set of vectors. This mapping is referred to as embedding and allows techniques of machine learning and data mining to be applied for the analysis of string data. It can be used with data such as text documents, DNA sequences, or log files. The vector space model or bag-of-words model is used. Strings are characterized by a set of features, where each feature is associated with one dimension of the vector space. Occurrences of the features in each string are counted. Alternatively, binary or TF-IDF values can be computed. Vectors can be output in plain text, LibSVM, or Matlab format.

Release Notes: Support for stop words and frequency thresholding has been added. The configuration has been simplified and is more transparent. Several bugs have been fixed.
