OpenNMS is the first enterprise-grade network management platform developed using the open source model. The three main functional areas of OpenNMS are service polling, which monitors services on the network and reports on their "service level"; data collection from the remote systems via SNMP in order to measure the performance of the network; and a system for event management and notifications.

ufdbGuard is a URL filter. The URL filter blocks access to sets of Web sites and cooperates with the Squid proxy. The multi-threaded daemon uses a fast algorithm that does 50,000 URL verifications per second on an Intel Core 2 Duo (Conroe) at 2.4 GHz.

GriF is a collaborative grid framework to support computational chemistry applications. SchilliX is an OpenSolaris-based live CD and distribution that is intended to help people discover OpenSolaris. When installed on a hard drive, it also allows developers to develop and compile code in a pure OpenSolaris environment. SchilliX tries to be as Sun Solaris compatible as possible and to be the optimum development platform for Solaris and OpenSolaris.

Sally is a tool for mapping a set of strings to a set of vectors. This mapping is referred to as embedding and allows techniques of machine learning and data mining to be applied for the analysis of string data. It can be used with data such as text documents, DNA sequences, or log files. The vector space model or bag-of-words model is used. Strings are characterized by a set of features, where each feature is associated with one dimension of the vector space. Occurrences of the features in each string are counted. Alternatively, binary or TF-IDF values can be computed. Vectors can be output in plain text, LibSVM, or Matlab format.

Keepalived for LVS aims to add a strong and robust keepalive facility to the Linux Virtual Server project. This project is written in C with multilayer TCP/IP stack checks. It implements a framework based on three family checks: Layer3, Layer4, and Layer5. This framework gives the daemon the ability of checking a LVS server pool states.When one of the servers in the LVS server pool is down, keepalived informs the Linux kernel via a setsockopt call to remove this server entry from the LVS topology. In addition, it implements a VRRPv2 stack to handle director failover.

Task Coach is a simple todo manager to manage personal tasks and todo lists.
