zrep provides an easy-to-use program to manage zfs filesystem replication and failover. No configuration files are required. The program is developed under Solaris, but may work with any up to date zfs implementation. The executable is a single script. Initialization does a full data copy, but subsequent syncs are incrementals. It uses internal locking to make sure there is no danger of overlap if you just shove it in cron to run every minute. Design target is more "near-time replication", since the sync can be run every minute or more. However, it could conceivably be used for "backup" purposes as well.
Release Notes: This release has a trivial one-line fix for a trivial bug for older versions of zrep.
GnuTLS is a secure communications library implementing the SSL, TLS, and DTLS protocols and technologies around them. dispy is a Python framework for parallel execution of computations by distributing them across multiple processors in a single machine (SMP), or among many machines in a cluster or grid. The computations can be standalone programs or Python functions. dispy is well suited for the data parallel (SIMD) paradigm where a computation is evaluated with different (large) datasets independently (similar to Hadoop, MapReduce, Parallel Python). dispy features include automatic distribution of dependencies (files, Python functions, classes, modules), client-side and server-side fault recovery, scheduling of computations to specific nodes, encryption for security, sharing of computation resources if desired, and more.
Release Notes: This release changes the license to the MIT license and updates asyncoro to the latest release.
Embedded Profiler is low-overhead C++ profiler based on automatic instrumentation of functions done by the compiler (GCC, MinGW, or MSVC). Profiling can be done either automatically or manually. Automatic profiling generates a complete call tree and needs no modification of code. Manual profiling requires using the EProfiler API to specify the parts of code to be profiled. The resulting log can be opened in Performance Analyzer, a GUI application with several views designed for comfortable log analysis.
Release Notes: This release contains a fix for the address resolution problem for MSVC compilers. The user guide has been significantly improved as well.

The French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Malay, and Polish translations were updated.
Moose File System (MooseFS / MFS) is a fault tolerant, network distributed file system. It spreads data over several physical servers, which are visible to the user as one resource. For standard file operations MooseFS mounted with FUSE acts like other Unix-alike file systems: it has a hierarchical structure; it stores POSIX file attributes; and it supports special files, symbolic links, and hard links. Access to the file system can be limited based on IP address and/or password. It offers high reliability, since several copies of the data can be stored across separate computers. Capacity is dynamically expandable by attaching new computers or disks. Deleted files are retained for a configurable period of time (with a file system level "trash bin"). MooseFS supports coherent snapshots of files, even while the file is being written or accessed.
Release Notes: The most important changes include retention of previous copies of metadata, applying new settings on "reload" (SIGHUP), and better handling of full disks on the master.
FluidSynth is a real-time software synthesizer based on the SoundFont 2 specifications. It can read MIDI events from MIDI input devices or files and render them to an audio device using SoundFont instrument banks. It can also play MIDI files. Release Notes: This release contains better MIDI End-of-track handling, a fix for broken sounds after voice overflow, and a few platform-specific fixes.
Ashd is an HTTP server that follows standard Unix philosophy for modularity. Instead of being a monolithic program with loadable modules, as most other HTTP servers seem to be, Ashd is simply a collection of much simpler programs, passing HTTP requests to each other using a simple protocol. The model also allows such handler programs to persist properly, so that, for example, session data can be kept in memory, connections to back-end services can be kept open, and so on.
Release Notes: dirplex configuration was made more useful, and the default configuration files were improved. There was also a bunch of minor stability improvements, bugfixes, and the like.
DataArchitect Viewer is an XML viewer for generic diagrams and Entity Relationship Diagrams. It can display diagrams created with DataArchitect, for easier deployment to customers or third parties.

uterus is a codec library for financial tick data with an emphasis on market data integrity and maintainability. It comes with a set of tools to convert (mux) and print (demux) data from some sources, and to perform standard tasks like selecting instruments, creating snapshots and candles from tick data, etc. Special care is taken to provide longevity and consistence. All timestamps are internally converted to coordinated time, and price and quantity quotes are converted to a monetary datatype which doesn't suffer from rounding errors. Most importantly, meta data is stored along with the payload data in an inseparable unit, to provide self-contained and self-documenting files or network streams.
Release Notes: An endianness converter was provided in ute fsck (--little-endian|--big-endian). Tests now run on big-endian machines. m62 objects were made to coincide with m30s on any platform (i.e. big-endian m62 mantissa is split into 30bits + 2bits exponent + 32bits rest mantissa). The shared libuterus.so library is now installed. The missing ute_free() function was provided to close a context without flushing/resorting. Incorrect endianness is now converted on the fly in ute print. A UO_NO_CREAT_TPC open flag was provided to defer the creation of the scratch TPC page when opening files.
Clonezilla is a partition or disk cloning tool similar to Symantec Ghost. It saves and restores only blocks in use on the hard drive if the file system is supported. For unsupported file systems, dd is used instead. It has been used to clone a 5 GB system to 40 clients in about 10 minutes.
