spectrwm is a minimalistic tiling window manager that tries to stay out of the way so that valuable screen real estate can be used for much more important stuff. It has sane defaults and does not require one to learn a language to do any configuration. It was written by hackers for hackers and it strives to be small, compact, and fast.

Release Notes: This is a BETA release which will turn into 2.0.0 in a few weeks. It completely rewrites the entire window manager to switch from Xlib to xcb, resulting in a much snappier experience. The configuration file is 100% backwards-compatible and now supports Xft fonts in bar_font. This release also fixes a couple of long-standing minor issues.

Download Website 31 Jul 23:10 dnscrypt-proxy 1.0.1

dnscrypt-proxy acts as a DNS proxy between a regular client, like a DNS cache or an operating system stub resolver, and a DNSCrypt-aware resolver, like OpenDNS. It also provides some confidentiality to DNS queries.

Release Notes: dnscrypt-proxy and hostip can now be compiled for Android and Solaris. The proxy can now run as a Windows service, with startup options read from the Windows registry.
