liblacewing is a cross-platform, high-level networking library. It aims to provide a set of straightforward classes for socket communication in C/C++, with a focus on scalability and platform specific optimisations (eg. support for IOCP, epoll, and kqueue).

FreeDiams is a program for making prescriptions of pharmaceutical drugs and testing their interactions. It is the result of building the FreeMedForms prescriber plugins into a standalone application. It is developed by medical doctors and is intended for use by these same professionals. It can be used to prescribe drugs and test drug interactions within a prescription. It can be linked to any application by way of its command line parameters. FreeDiams can use several drug databases, including the FDA_USA drug database, the French AFSSAPS drug database, the Canadian drug databases, and the South African drug database (SAEPI).

white_dune is a graphical VRML97/X3DV editor, simple NURBS/Superformula 3D modeller, animation tool, and VRML97/X3DV commandline compiler in development. VRML97 (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) is the ISO standard for displaying 3D data over the Web via browser plugins ("HTML for realtime 3D"). X3DV is the direct successor of VRML97. VRML97 and X3DV have support for animation, real-time interaction, and multimedia (images, movies, and sounds). white_dune can read, create, and display VRML97/X3DV files and let the user change the scenegraph/fields. It also has support for stereoscopic view via "quadbuffer"-capable stereo visuals, and support for 3D input devices like a joystick, spaceball, or magnetic tracker.
Release Notes: This release fixes wrong ElevationGrid.colorPerVertex FALSE rendering and updates the list of special covise DEF-Names in DEF-Dialog. Unfortunately, it is not possible to implement the scripted node NurbsCurveAnimation as a VRML97/X3D PROTO, so "create curve animation" functionality has been moved from the now-deprecated NurbsCurveAnimation node to the new CurveAnimation node. This release adds a backward-compatibility compilation flag to convert the deprecated NurbsCurveAnimation node automatically to the new CurveAnimation node.

Mathomatic is a portable, general-purpose computer algebra system (CAS) that can solve, differentiate, simplify, combine, and compare algebraic equations, perform standard, complex number, modular, and polynomial arithmetic, etc. It does some calculus and is very easy to compile/install, learn, and use. The symbolic math application with a simple command-line interface is designed to be a colorful algebra calculator that is reliable, responsive, and convenient to use. The symbolic math library is lightweight and easy to include in other software, due to being written entirely in C with no additional dependencies.

John the Ripper is a fast password cracker, currently available for many flavors of Unix, Windows, DOS, BeOS, and OpenVMS. Its primary purpose is to detect weak Unix passwords. It supports several crypt(3) password hash types commonly found on Unix systems, as well as Windows LM hashes. On top of this, lots of other hashes and ciphers are added in the community-enhanced version (-jumbo), and some are added in John the Ripper Pro.
Release Notes: CUDA and OpenCL support has been added. Support for Mac OS X keychains, KeePass 1.x, Password Safe, ODF and Office 2007/2010 files, Firefox/Thunderbird master passwords, RAR -p, WPA-PSK, VNC and SIP C/Rs, HMAC-SHA-*, RACF, builtin SHA-crypt, DragonFly BSD SHA-2, Django, Drupal 7, WoltLab BB3, new EPiServer, GOST, and LinkedIn raw SHA-1 has been added, with OpenMP, CUDA, and/or OpenCL for many of these. DePlo (DEpendency PLOtter) creates a graph (in the DOT format) showing the dependencies between Ada packages. The style is customizable, and it is possible to collapse hierarchies of packages and/or ignore some packages in order to get a simpler (and more useful) graph.

nss-pam-ldapd is a Name Service Switch module and Pluggable Authentication Module using an LDAP server. It allows your LDAP server to provide user account, group, host name, alias, netgroup, and almost any other information that you would normally get from /etc flat files or NIS, and allows you to do authentication to an LDAP server.

GeoToad is a geocaching query tool to help speed up the boring part of geocaching: choosing the cache and collecting the data. It allows you to generate any kind of complex query you want, and the program will go and poll the Geocaching query, grab the data, and output it to any format you want. The Geocache info can be synced straight to your GPS, iPod, PDA, or cell phone in over 20 different formats.
Release Notes: Recent changes to the GC website (replacing "regular" cache sizes with "medium" for a subclass of queries) forced an update. Some other patched have been merged. If you're using Windows and Ruby 1.9, please check issue 247 and report your findings (GeoToad is slowly migrating away from Ruby 1.8, which becomes obsolete in June 2013).

vmm is an easy-to-use and configurable commandline tool for administrators and postmasters, used to manage domains, alias-domains, accounts, and relocated mail users. Release Notes: This release supports catch-all addresses, allows alias addresses to have interpolated destinations, adds quota support, and supports Dovecot v1.x and v2.x.
FreeIPMI provides in-band and out-of-band IPMI software based on the IPMI v1.5/2.0 specification. It has a number of useful features for large HPC or cluster environments.
Release Notes: This release supports Supermicro SEL OEM interpretations (i.e., --output-event-state support in ipmi-sel), additional sensors and SEL event interpretations (i.e, --output-sensor-state and --output-event-state options in ipmi-sensors and ipmi-sel), and additional IPMI OEM sensors in the Supermicro X9DRi-F motherboard, and fixes a variety of minor bugs.
VisIt is an interactive parallel visualization and graphical analysis tool for viewing scientific data. Users can quickly generate visualizations from their data, animate them through time, manipulate them, and save the resulting images for presentations. VisIt contains a rich set of visualization features so that you can view your data in a variety of ways. It can be used to visualize scalar and vector fields defined on two- and three-dimensional (2D and 3D) structured and unstructured meshes. It was designed to interactively handle very large data set sizes in the terascale range, and works well down to small data sets in the kilobyte range.
Release Notes: This is primarily a bugfix release for version 2.5.0. Several enhancements have been made for Windows, including better SSH connectivity, metadata identifying VisIt programs, and PySide support. Multiple bugs related to AMR meshes have been fixed.
