The Parma Polyhedra Library is user friendly, fully dynamic, written in standard C++, exception-safe, efficient, and thoroughly documented.

Release Notes: This release includes support for the optimized representation of sparse vectors of coefficients, achieving significant performance improvements (e.g., when dealing with constraint systems describing weakly relational abstractions such as boxes and octagonal shapes). A generic interface allows seamless interaction between the dense and sparse row representations. Users can easily customize the default representation for library entities, to tailor the library to their special needs. The release also includes a couple of bugfixes.

Download Website 28 Jun 21:02 Makeflow 3.5.1

Makeflow is a workflow engine for executing large complex applications on clusters, clouds, and grids. It can be used to drive several different distributed computing systems, including Condor, SGE, and the included Work Queue system. Download Website 28 Jun 20:55 Parrot and Chirp 3.5.1

Parrot and Chirp are user-level tools that make it easy to rapidly deploy wide area filesystems. Parrot is the client component: it transparently attaches to unmodified applications, and redirects their system calls to various remote servers. A variety of controls can be applied to modify the namespace and resources available to the application. Chirp is the server component: it allows an ordinary user to easily export and share storage across the wide area with a single command. A rich access control system allows users to mix and match multiple authentication types. Parrot and Chirp are most useful in the context of large scale distributed systems such as clusters, clouds, and grids where one may have limited permissions to install software.

Release Notes: This release provides better detection of fast memory access in Linux kernels >= 3.0.

Download Website 28 Jun 09:46 mod_auth_pubtkt 0.8

mod_auth_pubtkt is a simple Web single sign-on (SSO) solution for Apache. It validates authentication tickets provided by the client in a cookie using public-key cryptography (DSA or RSA). Thus, only the login server that generates the tickets needs to possess the private key, while Web servers can verify tickets given only the public key. The implementation of the login server is left to the user, but an example and a library in PHP are provided with the distribution.

Release Notes: A new option and corresponding field in the ticket ("bauth") make it possible to specify the Basic authorization username/password in the ticket (e.g., when reverse proxying to a third party system which cannot use mod_auth_pubtkt). The credentials can optionally be encrypted in the ticket.

Release Notes: This release fixes some minor bugs and adds a few new features.

Download Website 28 Jun 07:01 Clement 2.5-147.3

Clement is an email server application. Its main function is to block unwanted mail (spam) as soon as possible in the email exchange process. It accepts or rejects email while the SMTP session, initiated by the email sender, is still pending, accepting legitimate email messages without the need to return an error status to non-existent or "borrowed" return address later. Clement can operate in two modes, either as a standard MTA (as sendmail, Postfix, Exim, Exchange, etc.) to store email in the recipient's own area, or to transmit the mail to an another SMTP server acting as smart spam filtering device. Each email domain name Clement knows about can be treated in one of these two modes depending on the group to which the domain name has been set. Each message is verified by a virus scanner (ClamAV) while the SMTP connection is still open, but the refusal of mail and the reason for refusal is notified to the actual sender. Mail management is done via a Web interface and can be delegated to three administrative levels (Root-Admin, Group-Admin, Domain-Admin). Standard users can access their own logs (sent email status, email rejected, quarantined email, etc.). With this interface, the user can handle the rejection and acceptance of mail. Users who are level "Admin" can access the session logs (via the Web interface). Clement uses a SQL database (PostgreSQL, MySQL) to store and manage logs, user profiles, and dynamic management of directives concerning the sender-receiver relationship.

Release Notes: This release added support for PHP versions older than 5.2, which were missing a time zone list. For CentOS 5.2 to 5.8, PHP 5.3 is provided if the "extra" repository is enabled in your Clement repository. Upgrading is strongly recommended.

Download Website 28 Jun 03:19 dCache DSS 2.2.2

dCache is a distributed storage solution. It organizes storage across computers so the combined storage can be used without the end-users being aware of precisely which computer stores their data; end-users simply see a large amount of storage. Because end-users need not know on which computer their data is stored, their data can be migrated from one computer to another without any interruption of service. This allows dCache storage computers to be taken out of service or additional machines (with additional storage) to be added without interrupting the service the end-users enjoy.

Release Notes: gPlazma 1 is now implemented as a plugin for gPlazma2. Java Authentication and Authorization Service (JAAS) password authentication was added. The default partition type in the PoolManager was changed to WAAS. The NFSv4.1 door now shows some statistical information. Renaming was added to the FTP implementation. Support for changing mode, owner, and group of a directory tag was added. SRM now always listens for SSL connections. Login monitoring was added to gPlazma2.

No download Website 28 Jun 03:18 Radiator Radius Server 4.10

Radiator RADIUS server is flexible, extensible, and authenticates from a huge range of authentication methods, including Wireless, TLS, TTLS, PEAP, SQL, proxy, DBM, files, LDAP, NIS+, password, NT SAM, Emerald, Platypus, Freeside, TACACS+, PAM, external, OPIE, POP3, EAP, MOTP, TOTP, HOTP, Active Directory, Vasco Digipass, SecurID, Yubikey, WiMAX, and many more. It runs on Unix, Linux, Solaris, Windows, MacOS 9, MacOS X, VMS, and more.

New features include support for EAP-PWD as per RFC 5931, a new AuthBy RATELIMIT module which can be used to limit the maximum number of requests per second that will be served. An early release of the AuthBy SAML2 module was included. This module fetches Moonshot/SAML2 Assertions for an (already authenticated) user from a Identity Provider (IdP) and puts the assertion in a SAML-AAA-Assertion reply item.

Download Website 28 Jun 03:16 MUSCLE 5.72

MUSCLE (Multi User Server Client Linking Environment) is an N-way messaging server and networking API. It includes client-side networking APIs for various languages, including C, C++, C#, Delphi, Java, and Python. MUSCLE lets programs communicate over a network via streams of serialized Message objects. The included server program ("muscled") lets its clients message each other and store information in its server-side hierarchical database. The database supports flexible queries via hierarchical wildcarding, and "live" updates via a subscription mechanism.

Release Notes: A compilation error under 64-bit environments using GCC 4.7.x was fixed, and some MSVC compiler warnings were cleaned up. A HexBytesToAnnotatedString() function was added for getting a PrintHexBytes()-style ASCII+hex dump as a String. ParseHumanReadableTimeIntervalString() was enhanced so that it now understands non-integral time units (e.g. "3.5 minutes").

Download Website 28 Jun 03:15 Box 0.3.4

Box is a programming language that puts special emphasis on graphics. It is intended to be for vector graphics what LaTeX is for writing scientific documents.

Release Notes: This release focuses on improvements to the documentation system, which was largely rewritten to be clearer and to support new features. In particular, it is now possible to specify a preview for a documented object: this is a piece of Box source code which is rendered as an image in the documentation browser. It is also possible to organize documentation in sub-sections and document instances. Bugs were fixed in both Box and Boxer. Steps were made to support converting Box code to C code and to support serialization/deserialization of Box programs (both features are not completed).
