Linux Huawei Unlocker is a tool that attempts to automatically remove the carrier lock on Huawei mobile broadband modems from the Linux command line. It automatically finds IMEIs, calculates unlock codes, checks SIM lock status, displays remaining unlock attempts, and asks the user for confirmation before trying the unlock code.

Gauche is an R5RS Scheme implementation that aims to be a handy tool for daily work. Quick startup, a built-in system interface, and native multilingual support are some of its goals. It has an OO system similar to STklos and Guile. It supports UTF-8, EUC-JP, and Shift-JIS multibyte encodings natively.

360-FAAR (Firewall Analysis Audit and Repair) is an offline, command line, Perl firewall policy manipulation tool to filter, compare to logs, merge, translate, and output firewall commands for new policies, in Checkpoint dbedit, Cisco ASA, or ScreenOS commands. Fido is a multi-threaded file watcher which searches files in real time for user-defined patterns. When it locates a match, it runs a user-defined program. It is useful for monitoring log files for issues and responding to them. It was designed to recognize log file rotation and start monitoring from the beginning of the new file.

LogAnalyzer is a Web front-end for syslog and other network event data. It provides easy browsing, searching, basic analysis, and some graphics. Data is taken from databases or plain syslog text files, so LogAnalyzer does not require changes to an existing logging infrastructure. Depending on the log data present, it can process syslog messages, Windows event log entries, and some more exotic things. Its troubleshooting support enables users to quickly find solutions to problems seen in the log data. LogAnalyzer was previously called phpLogCon, and has been renamed since v3.

Clonezilla is a partition or disk cloning tool similar to Symantec Ghost. It saves and restores only blocks in use on the hard drive if the file system is supported. For unsupported file systems, dd is used instead. It has been used to clone a 5 GB system to 40 clients in about 10 minutes.
