GraphicsMagick is a robust collection of tools and libraries which support reading, writing, and manipulating an image in over 90 major formats including popular formats like DPX, DICOM, BMP, GIF, JPEG, JPEG-2000, PDF, PNG, PNM, SVG, and TIFF. A high-quality 2D renderer is included, which provides a subset of SVG capabilities. C, C++, Perl, Tcl, and Ruby are supported. Release Notes: This release fixes a PNG writer bug, eliminates some temporary file leaks, supports adding uniform random noise, adds -strip and -repage command options, makes the XCF format support selecting which layers to return, and makes the INFO coder support the -format option (similar to "identify").

Release Notes: This release adds a "-l" flag to create a master log file (independent of the already-provided per-process/per-thread logs, enabling fully-scripted unattended tests), a "-o" flag to prevent runaway tests from lasting more than the given number of seconds, a "--fast" option to speed initialization of 128-bit floating-point random value arrays (which can take a while on slower processors), environment variable (SWETSET) recognition, banner printout restricted to verbose mode (-v), and a faster "make check" target.

SquidGuard Manager is a Perl CGI script used to manage SquidGuard blocklists and ACLs. It also has a GUI for SquidClamav. It supports all configuration directives of SquidGuard and SquidClamav. Configuration files can still be edited by hand.

Release Notes: This release fixes some issues in blocklist administration and allows subdirectories in the blocklist repository. For example, when using blacklists from Shalla, some of the categories have subfolders.

Verbiste is a French conjugation system implemented as a C++ library, a GNOME applet, and two command-line tools. It can conjugate verbs and analyze conjugated verbs to determine their mode, tense, and person. The knowledge base contains over 6700 verbs.

Release Notes: The GNOME applet is no longer included in the RPM provided here. The French verbs compoter, concaténer, occire, and procrastiner have been added. A new conjugation model has been created for the verb harceler, which can be conjugated like appeler as well as like peler. The user can now add verbs to Verbiste by creating an XML file in the home directory.

A cycle rendering engine adds a panoramic camera, mirror ball environment textures, render layer mask layers, a shadow render pass, ambient occlusion, float precision textures, and viewport display of background images and render layers. Motion Tracking has 2D stabilization and tool improvements. Many other smaller improvements and 150 bugfixes have been added since the last release.

Release Notes: This release fixes a crash in the SMB._storFile() method which occurred when the remote CIFS server utilized a max raw size larger than 65535 bytes (the bug was discovered with Windows 7 Pro SP1), fixes a bug in the SMB._listPath() method which caused the file/folder time information to be improperly converted to Epoch time, and adds new methods to query a machine’s NetBIOS name at the given IP address and to support finer control of file retrieval operations with read offset and write limits.

Movgrab is a command-line movie downloader for sites like YouTube. It has no dependencies; everything that's needed should be there in the tar.gz package. Movgrab can connect through an HTTP proxy, can output the download to stdout for piping into another program, and can fork into the background to free up the console. When forked into the background, its progress can still be seen in a ps list.

CGIProxy is a Perl CGI script that acts as an Internet proxy. Through it, you can retrieve resources that may be inaccessible from your own machine. The user is kept as anonymous as possible from any servers. HTTP and FTP are supported, and optionally SSL. Common uses include censorship circumvention, VPN-like setups, anonymous proxies, personal proxies, and others. Options include text-only browsing (to save bandwidth), selective cookie and script removal, simple ad filtering, access restriction by server, encoded target URLs and cookies, configuration by end user, and much more (currently over 70 config options). Javascript and Flash are fully supported. Messages are in 12 languages so far. Can be installed as a CGI script, a mod_perl script, a FastCGI script, or with its own embedded secure HTTP server. Release Notes: Flash support, including online video, was improved. There is no longer a delay before viewing a YouTube video. Some security/privacy holes were fixed, including improved support for the Same-Origin Policy. There were also other fixes and workarounds, making more pages work correctly.
