Nagstamon is a Nagios status monitor with a UI that resides in the systray or as a floating statusbar on your desktop. It informs you in realtime about the status of your Nagios, Icinga, Opsview, Ninja, Check_MK/Multisite, Centreon, or Thruk-monitored network. It alerts you with sound and visual notification. Failed hosts and services are easy to connect with by SSH, RDP, and VNC. Custom actions can be run on certain events. It works best with GNOME, but also with KDE, Mac OS X, and Windows.

Release Notes: This release adds custom actions, reauthentication in case of authenticaton problems, a filter for flapping hosts and services, a history button for monitors, and a shortcut to filter settings in the popup window. It fixes bugs related to Icinga acknowledgement, Check_MK sorting, and focus stealing on Windows when in the systray.

Screenshot

Scache is a different approach for PHP session data management. It provides a generic key-value data cache to use for transient session data storage. Scache also provides a shared keyspace, shared counters, and simple cache features. Scache's difference to other implementations is a tree-structured keyspace where one can easily operate only on required parts of stored session data and also invalidate groups of stored data by expiring whole subtrees. Despite its name, scache is not a cache. Scache stores all session data inserted until data is deliberately destroyed and so reduces the need to redundantly store the same data somewhere else. Scache consists of a daemon and a PHP extension.

Release Notes: This release enables accumulator support for multi-op requests. With accumulator, it is possible to atomically move values from one datastore to another. The protocol has changed to support larger keys and values.

4DIAC is a framework for distributed industrial automation and control. It aims to provide an open, IEC-61499-compliant basis that lets the user establish a distributed industrial automation and control environment based on the targets' portability, configurability, and interoperability.

Release Notes: This is the second Maintenance Release for 4DIAC 1.1, providing bugfixes to 4DIAC-IDE (9) and FORTE (6).

Download Website 16 Apr 02:16 DBSight 4.3.7

Screenshot

DBSight is a J2EE search platform for instant scalable full-text search on any relational database, for both beginners and experts. It lets you add Lucene-based searching to any Web page with SQL and JavaScript. It features a built-in database crawler that follows user-defined SQL, incremental indexing, configurable result ranking, highlighted search results (like Google), categorized result counts (like Amazon), and sharded distributed search. Scaffolding supports tag cloud, suggest-as-you-type, spell checker, and much more. It easily integrates with other languages through XML, JSON, and HTML, and can embed the search UI and results to any Web page by just copying a section of JavaScript. No Java coding is necessary. All managing operations are UI-based. Deleted or updated records in the database can be synchronized. Content outside the database can also be searched.

Release Notes: This release adds an email-style list-detail layout option to the datagrid scaffold. It adds a jQuery UI theme to the narrow by(facet) section scaffold.

Download Website 16 Apr 02:15 libferris 1.5.14

Screenshot

libferris is a virtual filesystem that exposes hierarchical data of all kinds through a common C++ interface. Access to data is performed using C++ IOStreams and metadata is available as key-value pairs through the Extended Attributes (EA) interface. Rich support for filesystem indexing is included to provide timely search results for well into millions of files. Ferris uses a plugin API to handle a large range of data sources, metadata, and index and search strategies. Filesystems include file:// with monitoring, XML (mount an XML file as a filesystem), relational databases, ISAM databases (Berkeley db, tdb, gdbm, eet et al), xmldb, LDAP, Applications (Evolution, Firefox, Emacs), HTTP, FTP, sockets, and RDF (from XML, binary, soprano). EA generators include image, audio, and animation decoders.

Release Notes: Mounting Zoneminder. A new REST interface allowing search, fetch by docid, list, read, write, and tagging. The ability to mount the new REST interface as a filesystem. Updates to the PostgreSQL metadata index module. A new "as-json" extended attribute; ferrisls can now output in JSON. A new docid: a virtual filesystem to allow access to files by their indexed number. The clucene eaindex module now includes indexed prefilter on simple regular expressions. Updates for paths of SQLite files and transaction use in the QtSql eaindex module. Updates for building on Gentoo compliments to APTX.
