Release Notes: The maintenance update addresses issues with data importation and exportation associated with database tables with 100k+ rows. Modifications have been made to allow the control of table reads and writes by way of General Options Preferences. This release, like the prior one, improves the HeatMapper plugin. AppLaunch is a Mac OS X version of the common “Run” or “Launch” dialogs provided by other operating systems and window managers such as Windows or KDE. It consists of an input box where the user enters a command line that will be passed to the applications workspace. A command in the AppLaunch meaning is not only a “pure” shell command; as of version 2 it may also be a file, an application, or an URL.

Release Notes: The AppLaunch 3 series introduces a lot of new features and includes several bugfixes, so updating is highly recommended. With this version, AppLaunch lets you use tab completion and tilde expansion (as in Terminal.app), supports privileged operations, and starts X11 for you if you need it. Different X11.apps are now supported. You can now alter your environment variables for the programs AppLaunch executes.

tsdecrypt reads an incoming MPEG transport stream over UDP/RTP and then decrypts it using keys obtained from OSCAM or a similar CAM server. Currently supported crypto systems are Conax, Cryptoworks, Irdeto, Viaccess, Mediaguard (Seca), Videoguard (NDS), Nagra, DRE-Crypt, and Bulcrypt. BISS and constant code words are also supported. tsdecrypt communicates with a CAM server using the cs378x (camd35 over TCP) protocol or the newcamd protocol.

Release Notes: This release can be compiled with FFdecsa, which brings up to 40% faster decryption in some cases. libdvbcsa is still the default decryption library, but thanks to FFdecsa, libdvbcsa is now an optional dependency. This release also supports decryption of streams encrypted with BISS or constant code words.

The qpfcalc application is a Qt frontend for pfcalc, a CLI pipe friction calculator. It is similar to gpfcalc, the GTK+ frontend for pfcalc. There are two versions of qpfcalc, one for Windows and one for Linux. The Linux version should be easy to compile and run on any Unix-like operating system with few minor modifications. For the application to function properly the pfcalc backend must be installed. For the Windows version, this is not needed as qpfcalc is distributed along with all the files needed to run, including pfcalc and Qt libraries.

PHP MIME Mail decoder class is a PHP class to parse and decode MIME email messages. It supports decoding single RFC 2822 MIME messages or archives that aggregate multiple messages in the mbox format. It can decode messages read from files or data strings. The bodies of multipart messages can be decoded into distinct sub-messages. Optionally, the message body data can be saved to separate files, so the class can handle messages larger than the available memory. The parser can tolerate some syntax errors in malformed messages that are not compliant with RFC 2822.

Release Notes: This release supports custom MIME types which applications may define to use when the Analyze function does not recognize a MIME type of a part of a parsed message.

The CVE ID for these issues is CVE-2012-1113. It is recommended that all users of Gallery 2 and Gallery 3 upgrade as soon as possible.

It provides new features for JMX remoting: bulk requests allow for multiple JMX operations with a single remote server roundtrip, there is a fine-grained security mechanism for restricting JMX access on specific JMX operations, JSR-160 proxy mode, and history tracking, to name a few. Jolokia's origins are in jmx4perl. Client bindings in addition to Perl have already been added, and more are planned.

Release Notes: This release brings cross-origin resource sharing (CORS) support to Jolokia. Other new features include AMD support for jolokia.js, time-based eviction for historical values, a configurable filter for selecting an OSGi HTTP service, and inclusion of no-cache HTTP headers in the response.

Fimex is a the File Interpolation, Manipulation, and EXtraction library for gridded geospatial data. It converts between different, extensible data formats (currently netcdf, NcML, grib1/2, metgm, wdb, and felt). It enables you to change the projection and interpolation of scalar and vector grids. It makes it possible to subset the gridded data and to extract only parts of the files. For simple usage, Fimex also comes with the command line program fimex.


Release Notes: With this release, Fimex starts using the towgs84 Bursa Wolff parameters from the CF-trac proposal to describe the earth position. In addition, the earth figure from felt-files is now configurable, with a default being the one from the felt documentation, i.e. spherical earth with a 6371km radius.
