rmtoo is a requirement management tool. It is intended for programmers, as it has no GUI. Requirements are stored in plain text files. The tools allow such things as checking dependencies, creating LaTeX output, and a prioritization list for backlog and requirement elaboration.

ESMF is software for building and coupling weather, climate, and related models. The premise is that complicated applications should be broken up into smaller pieces, or components. A component is a unit of software composition that has a coherent function, and a standard calling interface and behavior. Components can be assembled to create multiple applications, and different implementations of a component may be available.

Humm and Strumm is a project to create a high-performance, concurrent 3D video game engine in modern C++.
Release Notes: The engine now supports a programmatic interface to detect the current date, time, and timezone information. Its logging capabilities have been made much more flexible, allowing for multiple logs, user configurable logging, and modular logging. In addition to GCC, this release detects and explicitly supports the new Clang C++ Compiler, about which interest has been rising both in the GNU community and in the *BSD community, due to its speed, modularity, and permissive license. If the compiler supports the new C++11 standard, this release makes use of some new features.

Your heartbeat causes micro color changes on your face. What's My Heart Rate uses the front camera and a software algorithm to detect these micro changes, with beat-to-beat accuracy. The algorithm is based on the non-contact photoplethysmography concept.
