Download Website 26 Mar 22:51 tvpvrd 4.0.1

Screenshot

tvpvrd is a PVR daemon for Linux that offers the ability to schedule and manage TV recordings using one or multiple installed analogue TV capture cards, e.g. Hauppauge. The daemon is interfaced either through its full command language via a provided command line shell or through a basic (built-in) Web interface provided by the built in micro Web server. The goal is to provide an advanced recording and transcoding (using ffmpeg) server without the need to configure databases or a complex GUI. The server is completely self-contained and uses an XML DB in plain text format to store future recordings.

Release Notes: This release fixes one critical error with date calculations for repeated recordings in 4.0.0.

To be as compatible as possible, it reads (SRM5/SRM6/SRM7) and writes (SRM7) files in the same format that srmwin uses.

Release Notes: This is a major release adding support for PowerControls VI and 7. This required a major API rework that introduced more verbose error reporting and progress indication. This also allowed some fixes for PowerControl V.

Download Website 26 Mar 22:49 Unicorn 4.2.1

Screenshot

Unicorn is a Unix and LAN/localhost-optimized fork of the Mongrel HTTP server. It takes full advantage of functionality exclusive to Unix-like operating systems. It will reap and restart workers that die from broken apps, and there is no need to manage multiple processes yourself. Load balancing is done entirely by the operating system kernel. Requests never pile up behind a busy worker. The server does not care if your application is thread-safe or not, as workers all run within their own isolated address space and only serve one client at a time. All Rack applications are supported along with pre-Rack versions of Ruby on Rails via a Rack wrapper. It also supports atomic log cycling, nginx-style binary re-execution without losing connections, before_fork and after_fork hooks, and optional copy-on-write-friendly memory management.

Release Notes: This release detects stale pid files if a pid is recycled by processes belonging to another user. There are also small documentation updates.

Download Website 26 Mar 22:48 s6-portable-utils 0.17

Screenshot

s6-portable-utils is a set of tiny general Unix utilities, often performing well-known tasks such as cut and grep, but optimized for simplicity and small size. They were designed for embedded systems and other constrained environments, but work everywhere.
