Download Website 03 Feb 23:00 mod_pLua 0.35

mod_pLua is an Apache HTTP Server 2.x module for developing Web applications with Lua. With mod_pLua, you can use Lua for scripting in two distinct ways; Embedded Lua scripting, <?lua print("Hello, world!") ?>, or plain Lua scripting with a CGI-style interface. mod_pLua precompiles all scripts and caches the compiled binary code so that each new call to the same file will be lightning fast, allowing you to serve hundreds of thousands of requests per minute on any modern server. Mod_pLua supports both the traditional Lua interpreter as well as LuaJIT for both Windows and UNIX platforms. If your Web server supports it, mod_pLua also utilizes APR_DBD and mod_dbd to handle persistent database connections through the dbopen() Lua function.

Release Notes: Databases opened with dbopen() should now properly close if GC'ed in Lua 5.2. The GC call for databases now has its own function for cleaning up, as opposed to using db:close(). This release changes the maximum number of variables and chained variables allowed in a GET/POST request. It fixes a bug that would crash mod_pLua on Apache 2.4 when a compiler or runtime error was met.

Download Website 03 Feb 22:54 o42a 0.1.3

o42a is a high-level general purpose programming language. It is compiled, statically-typed, prototype-based, logic-driven, and primarily declarative, while the imperative programming style is also supported. A program written in o42a is closer to natural English text than one written in any C-like programming language. The language is designed with programming productivity and code maintainability as main priorities. This achieved by powerful, yet restrained, semantics, and expressive and natural syntax.

Release Notes: This release introduces a new compilation stage called normalization. This stage is responsible for generated code redundancy elimination and includes different techniques based on a static code analysis. The compiler is now able to “inline” objects in many, quite common, situations, converting object data structures and functions to executable code fragments. This drastically reduces the size of generated executables.

No download Website 03 Feb 22:51 Auralquiz 0.8

Auralquiz is a simple music quiz game that uses your own music files. It plays short pieces of music files from your folders and presents a question and several answers about the current song. The faster the answer, the more points you receive. Up to eight people can play in a turn-based mode. In the highest difficulty level, instead of having the buttons, the player must type the answer. Symbols like "!", "-", "." etc are filtered out, and it's not case sensitive, so it's a little easier to answer correctly.

Release Notes: This release adds a Czech translation and man page. Better song shuffling. Shows the progress bar while analyzing music. Reworked ranking with basic statistics. A fix for a bug with 4-button-mode and very long titles/artist names. Other small fixes.

Download No website 03 Feb 01:22 OrientDB 1.0rc8

OrientDB is a NoSQL DBMS which can store 150,000 documents per second on common hardware. Even with a document-based database, the relationships are managed as in graph databases, with direct connections among records. You can traverse entire or parts of trees and graphs of records in a few milliseconds. It supports schema-less, schema-full, and schema-mixed modes, has a strong security profiling system based on users and roles, and supports SQL between the query languages. Thanks to the SQL layer, it's straightforward to use for people skilled in the relational world.

Release Notes: This release adds a new TRAVERSE command to traverse records by relationships, a new fetch plan to support more complex use cases, an asynchronous API to speed inserts, updates, and deletes via a remote network, a new DECIMAL type to handle currency without the pains of float and double types, a strict schema mode to work like a Relational DBMS, resolution of the "big-node" problem when a record has many links to other records by using an MVRB-Tree to handle relationships, new NOT and INSTANCEOF operators for SQL, an index which works against MAP types, support for JPA @Embedded annotation, and bugfixes for 54 issues.

No download No website 03 Feb 01:18 Wikitty 3.4

Wikitty is a key/value storage and search system. A Java object or a relational table is frozen when writing code or creating a database. To make them evolve, you have to go back into the code, write a migration process, etc. It is also hard to maintain coherent code when you want to develop the same application for similar needs with only small differences. Between the common code and the specific code, it can easily become a real burden. Wikitty tries to answer those problems, bringing a technical solution which is easy to put into place and to use.

Release Notes: This release updates the solr and lucene version, an external authentication system has been added (LDAP-only for the moment), and the security services have been split between authorization and authentication. The Query system has been drastically reviewed, to have an easy way to write queries. Some bugs have been fixed.

DrRacket uses composable ray-traced icons, and Typed Racket allows customizing type errors in macros. "2htdp/universe" supports an experimental game pad key handler. The "db" library now supports nested transactions and PostgreSQL arrays.

Download Website 03 Feb 01:03 MALODOS 1.2.1

MALODOS helps you to scan, store, and easily retrieve all your personal documents. Its storage format is open and documented, so your document archive can remain accessible even without MALODOS. The documents themselves are stored as standard PDF files, while their metadata (such as title, tags, and description) are stored into a separate SQLite database in an open format. With MALODOS, you can also manage existing files in PDF, JPEG, TIFF, and other formats, so you can still use the documents that you've already scanned. You can connect to any external OCR program to give access to a fulltext search feature.

Release Notes: This release mainly removes bugs in the Windows version which prevented the user from scanning multi-page documents and would lead to distorted images. It adds a useful button to the scanner dialog (all OS versions) which allows adding a page to those already scanned in the current record.

It has a tag editor, which can download album information (including cover art) from MusicBrainz and Discogs, as well as paste data from the clipboard. Track information can also be extracted from a file's name. Another component is the file renamer, which can rename files based on the fields in their ID3V2 tag (artist, track number, album, genre, etc.).

Release Notes: This Unstable release adds several new features, the most important ones being running external tools and executing transformations in the CLI mode. Two new transformations have been added for removing APE tags and non-audio data. It is now possible to delete MP3 files from the main window or to open a file explorer at the folder containing a particular file.
