The DSI utilities are a mixed collection of classes accumulated during the last ten years in projects developed at the DSI (Dipartimento di Scienze dell'Informazione, i.e., Information Sciences Department) of the Università degli Studi di Milano.

OGLplus is a header-only library that implements a thin object-oriented facade over the OpenGL (version 3 and higher) C-language API. It provides wrappers that automate the resource and object management and make the use of OpenGL in C++ safer and easier.
Release Notes: Wrappers for many GL-context value queries were added. New enumerations and wrappers for Viewport, Texture, Renderbuffer, and Sync-related operations were added. The consistency of the interface was improved. Several new examples were added.
Gnome Partition Editor is a graphical frontend to libparted. It supports creating, resizing, moving, and copying of partitions.
Release Notes: This release includes the new features of GParted 0.12.0 (support for nilfs, set new UUID, and support for growing GPT RAID). It is based on the Debian Sid repository as of 2012/Feb/23 and includes Linux kernel 3.2.6-1. To improve support for the GParted forum, dillo has been replaced with the netsurf browser.
StepSim is a lightweight step-based simulation module written in Python. It can do simple real-time simulations of discrete systems. StepSim supports step-by-step simulation or can run until a break condition occurs. Simulations are made up of containers and converters. A container stores a discrete amount of units of a certain type. A converter draws units from one or more containers and delivers the result to another container. StepSim does not even attempt to do any parallel processing. It processes converters round-robin in a fixed order.
Release Notes: This release adds Container.units_delivered, which counts the total number of units delivered to a Container. It changed Milestone.percent() to use Container.units_delivered instead of Container.stock. It adds Converter.max_units and Converter.units_delivered. Converter.draw() will now check if Converter.units_delivered has reached Converter.max_units before drawing resources. This release adds Converter.set_max_units(). It changes doctests in the README accordingly. Minor changes and additions.
Aspose.Pdf.Kit is a Java component for manipulating PDF documents. It supports filling of XFA fields, the creation o PDF document links, font styles, modifying AcroForm, extracting and adding Images and text, retrieving and modifying meta information, encrypting or decrypting PDF files, adding watermarks or logos, appending pages, and converting a PDF file to a single TIFF or XML file.
Release Notes: This release provides excellent support for converting PDF files into various image formats such as PNG, JPEG, TIFF, etc. It greatly improves the bookmark and page extraction features. The images created from the attached sample PDF that were black and distorted are now improved. Other bugfixes are also included.

Dropbear is an SSH 2 server and client that is designed to be small enough to be used in low-memory embedded environments, while still being functional and secure for general use.
Release Notes: This release fixes a security bug that could allow code execution as root by an authenticated user if a command="..." option is used in authorized_keys. It also includes various minor fixes and cleanups.
tsdecrypt reads an incoming MPEG transport stream over UDP/RTP and then decrypts it using keys obtained from OSCAM or a similar CAM server. Currently supported crypto systems are Conax, Cryptoworks, Irdeto, Viaccess, Mediaguard (Seca), Videoguard (NDS), Nagra, DRE-Crypt, and Bulcrypt. BISS and constant code words are also supported. tsdecrypt communicates with a CAM server using the cs378x (camd35 over TCP) protocol or the newcamd protocol.
Release Notes: This release adds RTP output support. There is an option to save input stream in file and PID statistics for better input stream overview. A major bug was fixed that prevented tsdecrypt from working if the CAMD server was not available for couple of minutes.
DocumentBurster is a tool for report distribution: split, merge, email, and FTP your reports. Tine 2.0 is a Web-based groupware solution that focuses on usability and correctness. To achieve these goals, the project uses usability experts and covers most of the code by unit tests. It contains support for contacts, tasks, calendar, email, CRM, VoIP integration, a time tracker, ActiveSync, and a flexible rights management system.
Release Notes: In the fifth beta version of the upcoming "Milan" release, some minor bugs and usability issues in the ActiveSync, Calendar, Filemanager, and Email modules have been solved.
fio is an I/O tool meant to be used both for benchmark and stress/hardware verification. It has support for 13 different types of I/O engines (sync, mmap, libaio, posixaio, SG v3, splice, null, network, syslet, guasi, solarisaio, and more), I/O priorities (for newer Linux kernels), rate I/O, forked or threaded jobs, and much more. It can work on block devices as well as files. fio accepts job descriptions in a simple-to-understand text format. Several example job files are included. fio displays all sorts of I/O performance information, including complete IO latencies and percentiles. Fio is in wide use in many places, for both benchmarking, QA, and verification purposes. It supports Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD, OS X, OpenSolaris, AIX, HP-UX, and Windows.
Release Notes: This release updates the Windows port, which is now full 64-bit using MingGW instead of Cygwin. It has support for token-based flow control between jobs. It fixes disk slave output in terse output format. It fixes attempts to switch zones without zones enabled, which caused verify failure. It adds checksums to verify headers, to be able to verify those separately on load from disk. Speedup pattern verification. A fix for not calculating latency statistics when doing read verifies. A fix for logging of IOPS and BW on mixed workloads. This release merges crc32c and crc32c-intel verify formats, and will always use hardware-assisted crc32c if available.

Your heartbeat causes micro color changes on your face. What's My Heart Rate uses the front camera and a software algorithm to detect these micro changes, with beat-to-beat accuracy. The algorithm is based on the non-contact photoplethysmography concept.

MindTerm is a complete ssh-client in pure Java. It can be used either as a standalone Java application or as a Java applet. Three packages of importance are provided (terminal, ssh, and security). The terminal package is a rather complete vt102/xterm-terminal, and the ssh-package contains the ssh- protocol and also "drop-in" socket replacements to use ssh-tunnels transparently from a Java application/applet. It also contains functionality to realize a ssh-server. Finally, the security package contains RSA, DES, 3DES, Blowfish, IDEA, and RC4 ciphers.
Release Notes: Switched to use Java non-blocking I/O (NIO). Removes the AWT version of the GUI. Uses the Java Cryptographic Environment (JCE) rather than its own cryptographic classes. Using the JCE also makes it possible to run MindTerm in a FIPS mode where only FIPS-approved algorithms are used. Support for elliptic curve key exchange algorithms and host keys. The code has been checked and no longer produces any warnings when loaded in Eclipse. The embedded applet may resize to fill the area allocated to it.

The Geomajas rasterizing plugin allows vector layers to be rasterized on the server. It depends on the caching plugin to ensure tiles are not re-rendered each time. Styling for the features is described in SLD, making it very powerful.

DomCore is a set of PHP Foundation classes which are ready to be extended to give basic capabilities to your applications. It features a powerful template replacement engine, a language engine for I18N, an extended debugging mode, enhanced error and exception management, Java-like programming (you can't use a class attribute without declaring it first), serializable class management, mass file operations (full directory copy and delete), shared memory management, multi-level caches on data sources, and implementation of programation patterns.
Release Notes: Two new objects have been added: WALanguageCompiler, which replaces the static object WALanguage, and WASimpleXML, to compile any simple XML to a PHP array. WALanguage is now a fully extendable, iterable, and serializable object which contains the language table. Some bugs have been removed, and examples adjusted to the new objects.
The Geomajas utility widgets plug-in includes a set of additional widgets which can be used in your Geomajas applications. These include a wizard and a ribbon (which can replace the toolbar).

Zsh is a UNIX command interpreter (shell) which of the standard shells most resembles the Korn shell (ksh). It includes enhancements of many types, notably in the command-line editor, options for customising its behaviour, filename globbing, features to make C-shell (csh) users feel more at home and extra features drawn from tcsh.
Release Notes: This is a bugfix release. It fixes a problem in 4.3.15 which caused the command hash table to take a long time to build on systems with commands stored on the network. 4.3.16 was not widely announced, and anyone upgrading should go straight to 4.3.17.
