Screenshot

Overthere is a Java library to manipulate files and execute processes on remote hosts, i.e. do stuff "over there". It was built for and is used in the XebiaLabs deployment automation product Deployit as a way to perform tasks on remote hosts, e.g. copy configuration files, install EAR files, or restart Web servers. Another way of looking at it is to say that Overthere gives you java.io.File and java.lang.Process as they should have been: as interfaces, created by a factory and extensible through an SPI mechanism.

Release Notes: This release adds support for SSH tunnels to jumpstations and for NTLM authentication on CIFS connections. It has been upgraded to SSH/J 0.7.0.

Download Website 20 Feb 23:34 LogicalDOC 6.3.5

Screenshot

LogicalDOC is a Web-based document management system that is easy to use and learn. Its architecture leverages best-of-breed Java technology to achieve a powerful and flexible solution. It supports its users with a powerful search engine (Lucene), Web service interface (JAX-WS via CXF) compatible with .NET and PHP, versioning, annotation on documents, a WebDAV interface, importing and exporting from .zip files. Documents can be organized into hierarchical folders, searched using the integrated search engine, or browsed by Tag. The system is extensible thanks to the technologies used (Spring-Hibernate) and its plugin architecture.

Release Notes: This is essentially a bugfix release that includes some small improvements affecting particularly the GUI of the system. It moves the folder name to the beginning of the tab/window title, has support for additional characters for usernames, and indicates the effective search depth. The document upload folder not being cleaned up after checkin, incorrect file upload after repeated checkin/checkout, and export to zip not generating a zip have been fixed.

Download Website 20 Feb 23:31 Fimex 0.35.2

Screenshot

Fimex is a the File Interpolation, Manipulation, and EXtraction library for gridded geospatial data. It converts between different, extensible data formats (currently netcdf, NcML, grib1/2, metgm, wdb, and felt). It enables you to change the projection and interpolation of scalar and vector grids. It makes it possible to subset the gridded data and to extract only parts of the files. For simple usage, Fimex also comes with the command line program fimex.

Avatar

Release Notes: Fimex is now able to read grib files with the ASIMOF extension as used by the HIRLAM consortium. It also allows you to write grib data without a specific time. When using forward or coordinate interpolation from latitude/longitude, it worked only if the latitude/longitude axes had the same size. This works now with any combinations.

Download Website 20 Feb 23:18 Config::Model 2.004

Screenshot

Config-Model provides a framework for editing and validating the content of any configuration file or data. With a configuration model (expressed in a data structure), Config-Model provides a user interface and a tool to validate configuration. An optional graphical (Perl/Tk) or curses interface can be used to edit configuration data that will be validated according to the user-provided model. Config-Model includes a model example for fstab and a small fstab demo.

Release Notes: There is a big change this time, hence the version bump to 2.001 (and then to 2.004 due to some release hiccups). The main change for users is the deprecation of the config-edit program in favor of cme. Instead of using options, this cme uses command keywords like git, so users will have more possibilities while typing less. Internally, some performance improvements were implemented. Given the work required, core Config::Model classes were converted to Moose. This release also feature some improvements for the Debian source package model.

No download Website 20 Feb 22:38 j661 0.52 Beta 5

Screenshot

The j661 project provides a generic CDS (or ARINC 661 Server) in order to facilitate the understanding of the ARINC 661 standard, prototype ARINC 661 concepts and architectures, and facilitate the reuse of ARINC 661 specifications and artefacts between projects.
