uma::bson is a DOM-style C++ API for reading/writing BSON data. Unlike the MongoDB C++ API, which exposes a read-only interface with a separate interface for creating a BSON representation, this API allows reading/writing on the existing data. The API is designed primarily for serialising/deserialising BSON data to/from streams (files, socket connections, etc.).

Release Notes: A redesigned and refactored API that has been developed almost exclusively on Windows 7 using MSVC 2010 in 32-bit mode. The API is mostly the same as the previous 1.3 release, with only a few changes. The implementation is in some cases a lot different, but should be transparent to the user. The current release has been tested on Mac OS X 10.8, LLVM 3.1 64 bit mode, Solaris 11 GCC 4.7.2 32- and 64-bit mode, and Windows with MSVC 2010 and 2012 in 32- and 64-bit mode.

Dynamic IP ranges for external devices can also be determined. Support for clients in subnets has also been added. Several bugs were squashed.

cmogstored is an alternative, C implementation of the "mogstored" storage daemon used for MogileFS storage nodes. This implementation allows MogileFS storage nodes to be deployed with a minimal memory/filesystem footprint with no additional runtime dependencies. This implements all HTTP/1.1 DAV functionality needed by MogileFS clients as well as the mogstored stream protocol. This project is still in the early stages of development and not directly affiliated with the MogileFS project.

Release Notes: This release focuses on FreeBSD compatibility, including fixes for ZFS. Several bugs in out-of-FD error handling on Linux were fixed.

Release Notes: This release fixed bz2 compression and ar creation for large packages. The memfile maximum size is now 1Gb instead of 128Mb. A check was added for empty ar filenames. The lzma and xz tests were fixed so that such files can be added to data.tar.gz. Many dependency tests were fixed. --output-dir and --output-filename options were added for --install. Pre-configurations are now done as expected. --root was fixed so that a full path is always used. Several --remove bugs were fixed. Several installation definitions in CMakeLists.txt were fixed.

Release Notes: Routines for calculating the fractal dimension have been added. Plotting scripts have been considerably refined. The biggest single addition is the "space-filling" experiment. As its name implies, this will load up you hard drive with a lot of junk and more or less bring your computer to its knees.
