AFD is a program to automatically distribute files either locally or to remote hosts. The files are distributed by using FTP or SMTP, and can be sent in parallel and with priority. It provides a GUI to monitor and control the distribution and extensive logging of all activities.

SSH logins now work without the periodic timeouts. There is initial support for IPv6, but the code is still untested. Detects when hard link protection is enabled and warns the user about it. Bison is a parser generator in the style of yacc(1). It should be upwardly compatible with input files designed for yacc.

Fetchmail is a free, full-featured, robust, well-documented remote-mail retrieval and forwarding utility intended to be used over on-demand TCP/IP links (such as SLIP or PPP connections). It supports every remote-mail protocol now in use on the Internet: POP2, POP3, RPOP, APOP, KPOP, all flavors of IMAP, and ESMTP ETRN, ODMR, SMTP, LMTP, and local delivery agents.

phlyMail is a groupware, webmailer, and PIM. Calcurse is a text-based calendar and scheduling application. It helps keep track of events, appointments, and everyday tasks. A configurable notification system reminds the user of upcoming deadlines, and the curses based interface can be customized to suit user needs. All of the commands are documented within an online help system.
Release Notes: This release fixes another corner case of the screen corruption bug (bug #6). The startup welcome messages have been swapped again, so calcurse 3.1.2 should display accurate startup information. calcurse no longer segfaults when trying to edit a non-existent item.
4MLinux is a miniature Linux distribution focusing on four capabilities: maintenance (by using it as a system rescue live CD), multimedia (for example, for playing video DVDs), miniserver (using the inetd daemon), and mystery (meaning console games).
Release Notes: This release is distributed in the form of a multiboot CD, which allows you to make network installations of the following systems: Debian 6.0, Fedora 17, Slackware 14.0, and Ubuntu 12.04. It is also possible to boot 4MLinux 5.0 to prepare the installation of these systems (by performing data backup, disk partitioning, and the like).
listparser is a Python library that parses subscription lists (also called reading lists) and returns all of the feeds, subscription lists, and "opportunity" URLs that it finds. It supports OPML, RDF+FOAF, and the iGoogle exported settings format.
Release Notes: The codebase now runs on Python 2.4 through 3.3 without conversion, and has also been tested on Jython 2.5.2 and 2.5.3 as well as PyPy 1.8.0. The RFC 822 date/time parser now supports single-digit days.
