Screenshot

360-FAAR (Firewall Analysis Audit and Repair) is an offline, command line, Perl firewall policy manipulation tool to filter, compare to logs, merge, translate, and output firewall commands for new policies, in Checkpoint dbedit, Cisco ASA, or ScreenOS commands. It is all contained in one file. It can read policy and logs for: Checkpoint FW1 (in odumper.csv / logexport format), Netscreen ScreenOS (in get config / syslog format), and Cisco ASA (show run / syslog format). It uses both inclusive and exclusive CIDR and text filters, permitting you to split large policies into smaller ones for virutalization at the same time as removing unused connectivity. It supports policy to log association, object translation, rulebase reordering and simplification, rule moves, and duplicate matching automatically. It allows you to seamlessly move rules to where you need them. 'print' mode creates a spreadsheet for your audit needs with one command.

Release Notes: This release fixes many of the bugs in the Cisco reader and writer sections. Cisco configurations can now be processed, written, re-read, processed, and written again cyclically. Access lists using proto groups, specifying only protocol details or using "ip/any" services, are now handled. Protocol group objects are written and used in rules for service groups with many different protocol types specified within them. "port-objects" are read in service objects, service groups, and protocol groups alike. The Cisco "echo" default service has been updated to remove TCP and UDP from its listed ports.

Download Website 08 Nov 22:33 pmcyg 0.9

Screenshot

pmcyg is a tool for creating customized collections of Cygwin packages together with the Cygwin installer. This enables self-contained distributions to be created without having to mirror the entire set of Cygwin packages. For example, it can create a single CD-ROM or DVD from which a personalized version of Cygwin can be installed on machines not connected to the Web. A basic installer can be created in less than 25MB; a full set of Cygwin packages might fill a DVD-ROM; or a selection of packages can be constructed to suit your chosen installation medium. pmcyg will then download these and all their dependencies automatically. pmcyg can be used either as a command-line script or via a simple graphical interface.

Release Notes: Commonly used functions have been converted to image buttons on the GUI. The default URL of the Cygwin installer has been updated.

Download Website 08 Nov 22:32 SBuild 0.2.0

Screenshot

SBuild is a Scala-based build system. It features platform independence, multi project support, automatic detection of needed actions, automatic up-to-date detection, a flexible scheme handler mechanism, Maven repository support, Ant task integration, automatic cross-project resolving of dependencies, high speed, a simple "syntax" that requires almost no Scala knowledge, behind-the-sceens compilation of build script to bytecode for fast execution time, and built-in scheme handlers for HTTP and Maven.

Release Notes: This release adds the new @inlcude annotation to include other Scala files into the build file. Thus, one can share common configuration and build logic between projects. The API for TargetContext was extended. A new --quiet option was added that will drastically speed up SBuild's initialization time for larger multi-projects. Some new parameters were added to the AntJava wrapper and the ScalaTest addon.

Download Website 08 Nov 22:31 zrep 0.9

Screenshot

zrep provides an easy-to-use program to manage zfs filesystem replication and failover. No configuration files are required. The program is developed under Solaris, but may work with any up to date zfs implementation. The executable is a single script. Initialization does a full data copy, but subsequent syncs are incrementals. It uses internal locking to make sure there is no danger of overlap if you just shove it in cron to run every minute. Design target is more "near-time replication", since the sync can be run every minute or more. However, it could conceivably be used for "backup" purposes as well.

Release Notes: This release adds new subcommands: snaponly and synconly. This allows for short downtime of things like databases, to take the snap, then run the actual sync in the background after the database has been cleanly resumed.

Download No website 08 Nov 22:30 hexter 1.0.2

Screenshot

hexter is a software synthesizer that models the sound generation of a Yamaha DX7 synthesizer. It operates as a plugin for the DSSI Soft Synth Interface.

Release Notes: This release fixes a problem where exiting and restarting the GUI could cause in-progress patch edits to be lost.

Download Website 08 Nov 22:28 Ecere SDK 0.44.02

Screenshot

The Ecere SDK is a cross-platform toolkit for building software applications. It currently runs on Windows, Linux, Mac OS X (through X11), FreeBSD, and the Android OS. It should run on other Unix platforms with minor testing/tweaking. With the Ecere SDK, you can develop applications once and deploy them on all supported platforms alongside a lightweight runtime environment. It introduces eC, an object oriented language derived from and fully compatible with C, compromising neither runtime performance nor ease of use. A built-in 3D engine supporting both Direct3D and OpenGL is fully integrated.

Release Notes: Many issues have been fixed: the Debian packages not installing on 64-bit systems, issues with GCC 4.7, and build issues with ARM and big endian (PPC) builds. The target and host platform confusion in build system/makefiles has been resolved. __attribute__ qualifiers are now handled properly in the compiler. All per node settings in the build system are now properly resolved. Support for a SYSROOT and GCC prefix save has been added to the compiler settings. The tarball supports cross-compiling (e.g. building for MinGW on Linux). This release adds initial support for the Android platform.

Download Website 08 Nov 22:25 XIST 4.4

Screenshot

XIST is an extensible HTML and XML generator. It is also an XML parser with a very simple and Python-esque tree API. XIST also includes a cross-platform templating language, Oracle utilities, and various other tools.

Release Notes: Python 3.3 is required. The UL4 parser is generated via ANTLR for compatibility with the Java parser. Accessing undefined variable/attributes in UL4 templates returns the special object "Undefined". UL4 functions isdefined() and isundefined() have been added. Support has been added for date arithmetic to UL4 templates (via the functions date(), timedelta(), and monthdelta()). format() supports language-specific date formatting. Loop variable unpacking and variable unpacking in assignment supports arbitrary nesting. The new script oradd.py can be used for importing data to an Oracle database via procedure calls.
