Opera is a full-featured Internet tool, most notably a fully standard conforming Web browser. Rlogin is a remote shell client (like SSH), which is designed to be fast and small. It is not encrypted, which may have some small drawbacks in high security environments, but it is able to operate at very high speeds. Both the server and client do not use very much memory.

SOGo is a very fast and scalable modern collaboration suite (or groupware). It offers calendaring, address book management, and a full-featured Webmail client along with resource sharing and permission handling. It also makes use of documented standards (IMAP, CalDAV, CardDAV, etc.) and thereby provides native connectivity (without plugins) to many clients such as Microsoft Outlook, Apple iCal, the iPhone, Mozilla Lightning, and a plethora of mobile devices via SyncML. It can reuse any existing email and database infrastructure, avoiding long hours of site restructuring.

F-Engrave generates g-code tool paths for CNC machines using CXF fonts, true type fonts (TTF), or a 2D DXF file. It can generate tool paths for engraving or v-carving text or a DXF design. The output of F-Engrave can be imported into EMC2, MACH3, or other machine controllers. F-Engrave output can be reopened by F-Engrave for later editing. F-Engrave designs can also be exported as SVG files.

Paludis is a package manager for Gentoo (and derived distributions) and Exherbo. It consists of a core library and a number of console-based clients. Package formats supported include Gentoo ebuilds and kdebuilds (as defined by the Package Manager Specification), the Exherbo exheres-0 format, and various miscellaneous utility pseudo-formats for managing accounts, unwritten and unavailable packages, and packages for which no package exists.

check_hpasm is a plugin for Nagios which checks the hardware health of Hewlett-Packard Proliant servers. To accomplish this, you must have installed the hpasm package. The plugin checks the health of processors, power supplies, memory modules, fans, CPU- and board-temperatures, and alerts you if one of these components is faulty or operates outside its normal parameters.

Check_MK is a complex addon for Nagios/Icinga and consists of three subprojects. The check and inventory system Check_MK is a general purpose Nagios plugin for retrieving data. It adopts a new approach for collecting data and obsoletes NRPE, check_by_ssh, NSClient, and check_snmp. It features a significant reduction of CPU use on the Nagios host and automatic inventory of items to be checked, and is especially useful with larger Nagios installations. "MK Livestatus" gives immediate and fast access to live and historic Nagios status data. It's a supported backend for many addons including NagVis, NagiosBP, and Thruk. "Check_MK Multisite" is a feature complete replacement for the Nagios GUI, and uses MK Livestatus as a backend. It is very fast, and supports efficient distributed monitoring.
