Download Website 03 Nov 09:55 Java Algebra System 2.4.4278

Screenshot

The Java Algebra System (JAS) is an object oriented, type safe, multi-threaded approach to computer algebra. JAS provides a well designed software library using generic types for algebraic computations implemented in the Java programming language. The library can be used as any other Java software package, or it can be used interactively or interpreted through a Jython or JRuby front end. The focus at the moment is on commutative and solvable polynomials, power-series, multivariate polynomial factorization, Gröbner bases, and applications.

Release Notes: This release contains new distributed Gröbner base algorithms based on MPI as communication middle-ware. The implementation uses the MPJ (MPI Java) API and can be run with either MPJ Express or FastMPJ. The implementing classes are GroebnerBaseDistributedMPJ for the pure distributed version, and GroebnerBaseDistributedHybridMPJ for the distributed and multi-threaded version.

Download Website 03 Nov 09:55 Areca Backup 7.2.14

Screenshot

Areca is a file backup system that supports data compression (zip / zip64 format) and encryption, incremental backups, FTP/SFTP file transfer, delta storage mode, and many other features. It includes a transaction mechanism, which guarantees the integrity of your backups. Two user interfaces are available: a command-line interface (useful for backup automation) and a graphical user interface (useful for backup administration).

Release Notes: This version fixes a compatibility issue with IBM JVMs (Base64 encoding). It also includes better error management when handling compressed archives. By default, Areca now uses the local temporary directory as the working directory when checking archives.

Download No website 03 Nov 07:36 hexter 1.0.0

Screenshot

hexter is a software synthesizer that models the sound generation of a Yamaha DX7 synthesizer. It can easily load most DX7 patch bank files, edit those patches via a built-in editor or MIDI sys-ex messages, and recreate the sound of the DX7 with greater accuracy than any previous open source emulation (that the author is aware of). It operates as a plugin for the DSSI Soft Synth Interface.

Release Notes: This release adds significant capabilities, including an integrated patch editor, the option to use floating point math in the synthesis code instead of fixed point, performance optimizations, better patch bank loading, and MIDI non-registered parameter (NRPN) support.

Download No website 03 Nov 07:33 Wisecracker 1.0

Screenshot

Wisecracker is a high performance distributed cryptanalysis framework that leverages GPUs and multiple CPUs. It allows security researchers to write their own cryptanalysis tools that can distribute brute-force cryptanalysis work across multiple systems with multiple multi-core processors and GPUs. Security researchers can also use the sample tools provided out-of-the-box. The differentiating aspect of Wisecracker is that it uses OpenCL and MPI together to distribute the work across multiple systems, each having multiple CPUs and/or GPUs.

Release Notes: A C and C++ API are provided. The sample application demonstrates reversing of an MD5 checksum for a 6-8 character string.

Download Website 03 Nov 07:28 Fresh IDE 2.1.1

Screenshot

Fresh IDE is a visual assembly language IDE with a built-in Flat assembler (FASM) compiler. It is written in Fresh IDE and is a self-compilable application. It is fully compatible with FASM and can be compiled with every version of FASM, as well. The main goal of Fresh is to make programming in assembly as fast and efficient as in high-level languages, without sacrificing the small application size and raw power of assembly language. It is a Windows application, but it runs in Wine very well and can create, compile, debug, and run applications for Windows and Linux on both Windows and Linux host machines.

Release Notes: Several new features and bugfixes. The main focus is on the code exploration features. History manager was implemented. It remembers your path and then can navigate you back and forward through the explored source files. This feature complement the other code exploration features in order to make code exploration fast and efficient. "Cross reference"-based features now work with local labels as well. A better keyboard interface was provided for the cross reference window. Memory leaks, a serious bug in the new cross reference processing code, and a zombifying bug on exit were fixed.

Download Website 03 Nov 07:26 Parrot and Chirp 3.6.1

Screenshot

Parrot and Chirp are user-level tools that make it easy to rapidly deploy wide area filesystems. Parrot is the client component: it transparently attaches to unmodified applications, and redirects their system calls to various remote servers. A variety of controls can be applied to modify the namespace and resources available to the application. Chirp is the server component: it allows an ordinary user to easily export and share storage across the wide area with a single command. A rich access control system allows users to mix and match multiple authentication types. Parrot and Chirp are most useful in the context of large scale distributed systems such as clusters, clouds, and grids where one may have limited permissions to install software.

Release Notes: The Chirp server -b option is now documented in the man/-h page.

The GDB interface was updated, and multiprocess output file handling was added.

Download Website 03 Nov 07:23 reposurgeon 2.0

Screenshot

A tool for editing version-control repository history, reposurgeon enables risky operations that version-control systems don't want to let you do, such as editing past comments and metadata and removing commits. It works with any version control system that can export and import git fast-import streams, including git, hg, bzr, CVS, and RCS. It can also read Subversion dump files directly, and can thus be used to script production of very high-quality conversions from Subversion to any supported DVCS.

Release Notes: reposurgeon can now read Subversion dump files and repositories directly. New 'tag' and 'merge' major commands were added (the old 'merge is now 'unite'). The 'sort', 'cvspurge', and 'gitsvnparse' commands have been removed. A new auxiliary script, svnpull, was added for mirroring Subversion repos. Repo 'cut' was changed to 'divide' to avoid confusion with link cuts. Scripts can now be passed arguments substituted for $1..$n, as in the shell. Scripts can now consume multiline here-documents, as in the shell. Reference-name syntax is documented, and can select commits by date.

Setting of breakpoints on demand has been improved by enabling or disabling break points in any function. A load command allows OSI functions to be updated at run-time after being changed. ClassEditor provides better support for checking OSI functions. Several minor improvements have been made for ODE tools. Moreover, several bugs have been removed.

No download Website 03 Nov 07:20 j661 0.54 Beta 5

Screenshot

The j661 project provides a generic CDS (or ARINC 661 Server) in order to facilitate the understanding of the ARINC 661 standard, prototype ARINC 661 concepts and architectures, and facilitate the reuse of ARINC 661 specifications and artefacts between projects. The CDS architecture is designed to allow defining the Server behavior to be easily modified or extended. This is achieved by a modular plug-in architecture, allowing customization at runtime without changing anything in the Server core itself.

Release Notes: A new feature was added to the SuperLayer configuration file, allowing use of the same Layer in several Displays, while declaring in the configuration file a new Application ID for several Layers. This allows you to specify only one Layer, but use it as two different Layers in the cockpit. Moving of unsized containers (like A661_BASIC_CONTAINER) in the Editor is now allowed. Rendering performance in the Embedded Server was improved. It is now possible to create a custom vertical projection in the projections extensions. Many issues in the editor, server, and client were fixed.
