Frescobaldi is a LilyPond sheet music editor with built-in MIDI player and PDF preview. It aims to be powerful, yet lightweight and easy to use.
Release Notes: Some bugs were fixed, mostly related to the handling of filenames with accented letters under MS Windows. A fully self-contained Windows installer has been created, so that installing Python, PyQt4 etc. beforehand is no longer needed on Windows.
segatex is a tool to configure SELinux policy with the help of a GUI. At the push of a button, it can generate a .te file in the /usr/share/segatex directory. You can then edit your .te file, make a module, and install. You can make any module name and edit current modules. You can install, update, and remove modules. You can semanage list and semanage login, fcontext, and port or set some domain permissive. You can download SELinux-related RPMs, including xguest, sepostgresql, and mod_selinux. You can download Fedora DVD or CDs. You can relabel your system. You can audit2allow by GUI. You can check refpolicy by analyzer. segatex includes its own policy.
Release Notes: You can play with this on F16.
Fluere is a graphical software package for particle image velocimetry (PIV). Fluere is highly optimized for parallel processing and runs on multiple platforms. The goal of the project is to provide researchers and educators with high-quality velocimetry software that incorporates the latest advancements in PIV processing, while having complete knowledge of the algorithms used.
Release Notes: This release adds Predictor filtering via second-order spatial regression. This has been shown to be the preferred filtering method for iterative PIV interrogation that maximizes spatial resolution while minimizing random noise. References and proof of the effect on spatial resolution can be seen in the validation section of the manual. This release also adds Gaussian window weighting. This reduces the random error when using small windows and greatly enhances the spatial resolution. This can also be seen in the manual.
SLEEF (SIMD Library for Evaluating Elementary Functions) is a library that facilitates programming with SIMD instructions. It implements the trigonometric functions, inverse trigonometric functions, exponential and logarithmic functions in double precision without table look-ups, scattering from, or gathering into SIMD registers, or conditional branches. This library also includes some functions for evaluation in single precision.
Release Notes: In this release, exp2, exp10, expm1, log10, log1p, and cbrt are added. Some minor bugs are fixed.
JActor is a high-performance Java Actor implementation that can send 150 million messages per second, making it one of the fastest Actor implementations in any language.
Release Notes: This release fixes a critical bug in synchronous messaging across mailboxes and increases the message rate between actors sharing a mailbox to one billion per second.
defragmenter is a braindead filesystem agnostic defrag script that rewrites files. Running it in a directory causes all files and subdirectories to be reordered. It will only affect one partition and works best when run twice.
Release Notes: The author just noticed that e4defrag exists in the latest e2fsprogs. This script is still useful with it on ext4, since e4defrag does not check whether files are open when it defragments things. defragmenter has been modified to work with e4defrag when it is available and when it works on the current filesystem. If it is not available or does not work on the current filesystem, it will fall back to the old tried and true copy and mv method which has been used prior to this. This release also adds new error messages, cleans up old ones, and clarifies some exit messages.
Release Notes: CreatorTool name is now set on XMP data.
Droopy lets your friends upload files to your computer using their Web browsers.
Release Notes: This release adds a Taiwanese translation.
The Java Algebra System (JAS) is an object oriented, type safe, multi-threaded approach to computer algebra. JAS provides a well designed software library using generic types for algebraic computations implemented in the Java programming language. The library can be used as any other Java software package, or it can be used interactively or interpreted through a Jython or JRuby front end. The focus at the moment is on commutative and solvable polynomials, power-series, multivariate polynomial factorization, Gröbner bases, and applications.
Release Notes: Some algorithms for Wu-Ritt characteristic sets in the class PolyGBUtil and unit tests. Small fixes and improvements.
Mono Project is an Open Source implementation of the various ECMA and .NET framework technologies for Unix, Mac OS X, and Windows. The project includes a compiler, a class library, and a CLI runtime engine.

NuGet now runs on Mono. Phalanger 3.0 now runs with Mono. Support for some Azure libraries. Support for bundling profilers in a static binary. The profiler can now log its data to any file descriptor. SGen now has native support for object systems that implement ToggleRefs. Mobile Profile now contains System.IO.MemoryMappedFiles. PerformanceCounters for JIT statistics. Android CPU count. HashSet<T> can now be serialized.
Giada is a minimal, hardcore audio tool for DJs and live performers. Just pick your sample, drop it in any channel, and start the show by using this tiny piece of software as a loop machine, drum machine, sequencer, live sampler, or effect (VST) host. Giada aims to be a compact and portable virtual device for production use and live sets.

The Canola project is an emulator for the Canon Canola 1614P programmable desktop calculator, first manufactured in 1971.
Release Notes: An issue has been fixed where one too many "gui" path components were added when searching for .png files for the custom widgets. A bug has been fixed in the management of transparency of the card reader window. The use of Gtk::Window::set_opacity was wrong; it makes the whole window, including the contents, transparent. Instead, the window needs to (a) have an RGBA visual, and (b) set the background to transparent. The canola(1) program now includes a card reader.
