Zebra_Database is an advanced, compact (one-file only), lightweight, object-oriented MySQL database wrapper built upon PHP’s MySQL extension. It provides methods for interacting with MySQL databases that are more powerful and intuitive to use than PHP’s default ones. It supports transactions and provides ways for caching query results either by saving cached data on the disk, or by using memcache. The class provides a comprehensive debugging interface with detailed information about the executed queries: execution time, returned/affected rows, excerpts of the found rows, error messages, etc. It also automatically EXPLAIN‘s each SELECT query (so you don’t miss those keys again). It encourages developers to write maintainable code and provides a better default security layer by automatically escaping strings. Zebra_Database‘s code is heavily commented and generates no warnings, errors, or notices when PHP’s error reporting level is set to E_ALL.
Release Notes: This release adds support for caching query results using memcache, fixes a bug which caused the script to crash if the object was instantiated more than once and the language method was called for each of the instances, completely rewrites the dlookup method, which was not working correctly if anything other than a comma-separated list of column names was used (like an expression, for example), and lets the "connect" method take an additional argument instructing it to connect to the database right away rather than using a "lazy" connection.
Lzip is a lossless data compressor with a user interface similar to the one of gzip or bzip2. Lzip decompresses almost as fast as gzip and compresses more than bzip2, which makes it well suited for software distribution and data archiving. Lzip is a clean implementation of the LZMA algorithm. The Lzip file format is designed for long-term data archiving. It is clean, provides very safe four factor integrity checking, and is backed by the recovery capabilities of lziprecover.
Release Notes: The compression time of the option "-0" has been reduced by 2%. A reorganization of the compression code has been made. A small change has been made in the "--help" output and the man page. Quote characters in messages have been changed as advised by GNU Coding Standards.
Pdlzip is a limited, public domain version of the lzip data compressor that uses the (de)compression code from Igor Pavlov's LZMA SDK. It is also able to decompress legacy lzma-alone (.lzma) files.
Release Notes: A small change has been made in the "--help" output and the man page. Quote characters in messages have been changed as advised by GNU Coding Standards. Standard input and standard output are now set in binary mode on OS2.
ClassicMenu Indicator is a notification area applet (application indicator) for the top panel of Ubuntu's Unity desktop environment. It provides a simple way to get a classic GNOME-style application menu for those who prefer this over the Unity dash menu. Like the classic GNOME menu, it includes Wine games and applications if you have those installed.
Release Notes: This release fixes a bug which caused ClassicMenu Indicator to crash on invalid icons and adds some menus for system settings in Gnome3 (Ubuntu 11.10)
SabreDAV allows you to easily integrate your existing Web application with WebDAV. It supports most of the common clients, including the Mac OS X Finder, the Windows XP/Vista Explorer, DavFS2, Cadaver, NetDrive, and WebDrive. It supports class 1, 2, and 3 WebDAV servers. It implements RFC2518 and revisions from RFC4918. It also implements RFC2617 (Basic/Digest auth).
Release Notes: This release fixes VObject breaking UTF-8 characters and pear package installation issues.
GLE (Graphics Layout Engine) is a graphics scripting language designed for creating publication quality figures (e.g., a chart, plot, graph, or diagram). GLE supports various chart types (including function plot, histogram, bar chart, scatter plot, contour plot, color map, and surface plot) through a simple but flexible set of graphing commands. More complex output can be created by relying on GLE's scripting language, which is full featured with subroutines, variables, and logic control. GLE relies on LaTeX for text output and supports mathematical formulae in graphs and figures.
Release Notes: This release adds control constructs (for-next loops, if-then-else, etc.) in graph and key blocks, semi-transparent fills and colors (RGBA), the concept of layers for graph blocks, and a new CSV data reader.
KnowledgeRoot is a knowledge base system that lets you structure your content in a tree. It integrates FCKeditor to make adding content easy.
Release Notes: This release updates dojotoolkit and Zendframework, fixes problems with apostrophes in passwords and the "content collapse"function, and adds a zh_CN translation.
msmtp is an SMTP client with a sendmail compatible interface. It can be used with Mutt and other MUAs. It forwards messages to an SMTP server which does the delivery. Features include various SMTP AUTH methods, TLS/SSL-encrypted connections (including support for client certificates), support for multiple accounts, DSN, and IPv6 support.
Release Notes: This release fixes a problem with configurations which use OpenSSL and at the same time do not use GNU SASL.
OGLplus is a header-only library that implements a thin object-oriented facade over the OpenGL (version 3 and higher) C-language API. It provides wrappers that automate the resource and object management and make the use of OpenGL in C++ safer and easier.
Release Notes: New constructors were added to the shaders, allowing users to specify the source and compile them during construction. The QuickProgram class, which allows to specify shaders and link the program during construction, was added. The context wrappers were reorganized into separate classes. Wrappers for draw commands were added. New compile-time configuration options were added. Support for customized handling of errors was added. Several new examples were added, and some problems in the existing examples were fixed. New textures were added. A shape builder was added, and the existing ones were updated.
Release Notes: This release supports the ActionName attribute.
A simple DBF editor built with GTK+. It allows basic editing of DBF (dBase, xBase) files.
Release Notes: This release adds support for different code pages (you can select them in the File Open dialog) and fixes several bugs. Windows and Mac installers have been improved.
The SIP forwarding daemon (implemented as a stateless SIP proxy) allows you to seamlessly forward SIP requests to other SIP servers. Its main purpose is to enable users to use their own domain name in SIP URIs without the hassle of having to run a full-blown SIP server (by forwarding SIP requests to third-party SIP servers). Configuration information is stored in an SQLite database, and low resource consumption is a main priority for the project.
Release Notes: Support for RFC 3581 (An Extension to the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) for Symmetric Response Routing) "rport" has been implemented.
mpop is a small, fast, and portable POP3 client. Its features include header-based email filtering (filter junk mail before downloading it), delivery to mbox files, maildir folders, or a mail delivery agent, a very fast POP3 implementation, many authentication methods, and good support for TLS/SSL.
Release Notes: This version fixes a problem with configurations which use OpenSSL and at the same time do not use GNU SASL.
Mount-gtk is a front end for udisks and mount. It provides a means of mounting devices with udisks through a graphical interface. It is intended for use whenever automounting facilities are not desired or are not effective. It is built as a single-instance program: if the user attempts to start it when another instance of it is already running, the existing instance will be brought up on the current desktop. It will therefore not usually be necessary to mark it as displayable on all desktops.
Release Notes: The program now uses the udisks dbus interface as a backend.
The Canola project is an emulator for the Canon Canola 1614P programmable desktop calculator, first manufactured in 1971.
Release Notes: The canola(1) program now includes a card reader animation with an overlayed undecorated window. If a compositing window manager is used, it will be transparent, as well. The dot down the left hand side of the program listing has been removed because the real Canola 1614P doesn't print one. The canola(1) command is now able to save the data memories as an assembler program file. This can be useful when producing cards sets of constants, as seen in the GF series of cards in the Program Card Package.
