ePeriodique is a graphical application which displays the periodic table of the elements. It shows basic data for each element, pictures, Bohr models, and lattice structures. It tries to use the EFL way and provide two themes, one for the desktop (default) and one for small displays (small).

Release Notes: This release features a move to elementary 0.8, new data fields for discovery and density, a configure option for removing pictures and saving disk space (about 6MB) for small devices, and an Italian translation.

Tabbing now goes the first cell of the next row upon reaching the end of a row of the table. Icons were provided for menu items. An about dialog and homepage link were included. A bug when comparing sort track number where the track number is missing was fixed.

RCSSmin is a CSS minifier. The implementation is based on the semantics of the YUI compressor, but aiming for speed instead of maximum compression so that it can be used at runtime rather than during a preprocessing step. rCSSmin does syntactical compression only (removing spaces, comments, and possibly semicolons). It does not provide semantic compression (like removing empty blocks, collapsing redundant properties etc). It does, however, support various CSS hacks (by keeping them working as intended).

PHPLOT is a PHP graphics class for creating charts and plots. It works with PHP5 (but older versions can use PHP4). PHPlot uses the PHP GD extension to produce PNG, GIF, or JPEG images. TrueType fonts (TTF) are optional, or built-in GD fonts can be used. The available plot types are: area, bars, line/points, lines, pie, points, squared, stacked-bars, and thin bar-line. Labels, tick marks, plot legend, X/Y axes, and more are all configurable. Images can be imported as a background, multiple graphs can be drawn on one image, and images can be saved to disk or returned to a browser.

Release Notes: This release includes changes to pie charts, with new options for label content and format, and a new method for sizing the chart. The PHPlot Reference Manual has been updated, and new examples added.

vitunes is a curses-based music player and playlist manager whose goals are a minimalistic appearance, strong vi-like bindings, and quick playlist creation/management. It does not strive to be a full-blown media player, but rather a full-blown media indexer and playlist manager. It uses MPlayer to support a wide range of media formats. It also makes use of TagLib for metadata extraction from many common formats.

Release Notes: Multiple new features, performance improvements, and bugfixes. Notable new features include toggle lists, allowing one to quickly toggle through sets of commands, such as various sort or display schemas. HylaFAX is a fax and paging system for Unix. It supports sending facsimile, receiving facsimile, polled retrieval of facsimile, transparent shared data use of the modem and sending alpha-numeric pages. The software is structured around a client-server architecture. Fax modems may reside on a single machine on a network and clients can submit outbound jobs from any machine that can communicate with the machine on which the modems reside. An access control mechanism is included to control which users on which machines may access a server.

Release Notes: Minor fixes include information presented by faxwatch, less-used hfaxd JPARM options, ModemFmt hfaxd display, color fax sending, dialrules matching, AUTOROTATE feature, debugging cleanups, programming cleanups, MIME encoding, a potential faxq crash, and the TimeOfDay function.
