Burp is a program to backup and restore data. It uses librsync in order to save on the amount of space that is used by each backup. It also uses VSS (Volume Shadow Copy Service) to make snapshots when backing up Windows computers.
Release Notes: Automatically converts backslashes to forward slashes for includes/excludes on Windows clients. Adds 'client_can_force_backup', 'client_can_list', 'client_can_restore' and 'client_can_verify' options. Adds the ability to trigger a backup from the server side. Adds a 'notify_success_changes_only' option, which means that success notifications only get sent if there were new or changed files. Has some OS X fixes. c-ares is a C library that resolves names asynchronously.

Squid Analyzer parses the native access log format of the Squid proxy and reports general statistics about hits, bytes, users, networks, top URLs, and top second level domains. Statistic reports are oriented toward user and bandwidth control; this is not a pure cache statistics generator.
Release Notes: This release fixes some major bugs and adds sibling cache hit/miss to be included into cache statistics.
getxbook is a collection of tools to download books from websites. There are tools to download from Google Books' "book preview", Amazon's "look inside the book", and Barnes and Noble's "book viewer". There is an optional GUI written in Tcl/Tk, and some shell scripts using OCR to create plain text or searchable PDFs and DjVu files from the downloaded books.
Release Notes: The GUI has finally had a major overhaul, and is now positively attractive. This release also improves documentation, fixes a JPEG download bug, and tightens up the core code a bit.
pf-kernel is a fork of the Linux kernel. It provides useful features which are not merged into the mainline, including the BFS CPU scheduler, the BFQ I/O scheduler, and TuxOnIce.

Frescobaldi is a LilyPond sheet music editor with built-in MIDI player and PDF preview. It aims to be powerful, yet lightweight and easy to use.
Release Notes: New features have been added, such as code folding and editing a single line of music when shift-clicking a note in the Music View. It is possible to synchronize the Music View with the text cursor so that it always scrolls to the region where the text cursor is. There are many improvements as well: copied images from Music View now carry correct DPI information, autocomplete also looks for variable definitions in \include files, and the MIDI player follows program and controller changes when the time slider is dragged.
Rescatux is a GNU/Linux rescue CD that comes with Rescapp, a nice wizard that will guide you through your rescue tasks. It can restore Grub to the MBR update a Grub configuration, perform filesystem checks, fix a Windows MBR, and more. Features that can indirectly assist the rescue process include chat programs to let you reach human online help, a share log (automatic pastebin), and a share log that uses formatting appropriate for posting on a forum.
Release Notes: Updated GRUB option documentation was translated into Spanish and Catala. Putting Rescatux into USB should boot and work. Installing or updating GRUB hard disk ordering works with numbers of disks other than 2. Super Grub2 Disk loads with its original colours. The Desktop shows correctly (no more black desktop without icons). RAID and LVM2 support have been added for command line experts.
Pogo is probably the simplest and fastest audio player for Linux. Its elementary-inspired design uses the screen-space very efficiently. Pogo is especially well-suited for people who organize their music by albums on the hard drive. The main interface components are a directory tree and a playlist that groups albums in an innovative way.
Release Notes: This release mostly improves the search. It searches in the home folder if it hasn't found anything in the music directories, and does not search in subdirectories if it already searched in the parent directory. It only shows the filename and at most one parent directory for each file in the search results.
BaseX is a light-weight, high-performance, and scalable XML database system and XPath/XQuery processor, including full support for the W3C Update and Full Text extensions. An interactive and user-friendly GUI frontend gives you great insight into large XML data instances. It is platform independent and works out of the box.
Release Notes: Value indexes now support string-based range queries. The new XQJ API is based on Charles Foster's implementation. Import of XQuery modules has been simplified. Simplified invocation of Java code from XQuery. Full support for the XQuery 3.0 Regular Expressions syntax. Updating functions can now return values. Unified handling of document and database URIs. pcapfix is a repair tool for corrupted pcap files. It checks for an intact pcap global header and repairs it if there are any corrupted bytes. If one is not present, one is created and added to the beginning of the file. It then tries to find pcap packet headers, and checks and repairs them.
Release Notes: This release completely redesigns the packet detection algorithm (replacing bottom-up-recovery with brute-force-packet-guessing). It improves detection rate with additional plausibility checks. It has increased speed when repairing large pcap files.
Cego implements a relational and transactional database system with support for the SQL query language. The current release contains the most common database features for basic table manipulation and data retrieval. Indexes, foreign keys, views, and stored procedures are also implemented. Future releases (2.0 and above) will support a multi-node database concept with log file shipping for an automatic database application failover.

LIME is a dynamic programming language with a LISP-like syntax. It features partial function application, eager and lazy evaluation, call-by-value and call-by-reference, macros, reading/writing LIME code as data, a standard library including infinite streams, and an interactive mode with auto-indentation.

F-Engrave generates g-code tool paths for CNC machines using CXF fonts, true type fonts (TTF), or a 2D DXF file. It can generate tool paths for engraving or v-carving text or a DXF design. The output of F-Engrave can be imported into EMC2, MACH3, or other machine controllers. F-Engrave output can be reopened by F-Engrave for later editing. F-Engrave designs can also be exported as SVG files.
Release Notes: This release adds support for more DXF file entity types and includes improvements to the v-carving algorithm to improve CNC performance and reduce bad v-carving tool paths caused by infinitesimally small features.
fping is a ping-like program which uses the Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) echo request to determine if a target host is responding. fping differs from ping in a way that you can specify any number of targets on the command line, or specify a file containing the lists of targets to ping. Instead of sending pings to one target until it times out or replies, fping will send out a ping packet and move on to the next target in a round-robin fashion.
Release Notes: This release adds support for running fping as a normal user and contains various small fixes, both in documentation and code.

nss-pam-ldapd is a Name Service Switch module and Pluggable Authentication Module using an LDAP server. It allows your LDAP server to provide user account, group, host name, alias, netgroup, and almost any other information that you would normally get from /etc flat files or NIS, and allows you to do authentication to an LDAP server.
Release Notes: This is a quick update to fix a regression in the handling of PAM requests in the 0.8.7 release.
OCRE is an optical character recognition (OCR) system that reads an image file and writes ASCII or Unicode characters.

Aspose.Pdf is a .NET PDF component to write PDF documents without using Adobe Acrobat. It supports form field creation, document, text and page properties, color space, text, heading, and attachment settings. It lets you create PDF documents by using its API with XML templates and XSL-FO files. It also converts HTML, XSL-FO, and MS Word to PDF. Other features include image formats and security features, hyperlinks, the ability to add footnotes, automatic fitting to content in a table, decimal Tab stops, HTML tags, and keeping paragraphs together when breaking pages.
Release Notes: This release adds the ability to shrink the contents of a PDF file to a smaller size so you’ll save hard drive space. The TextFragmentAbsorber has always been a great mechanism for searching and replacing particular text strings inside a PDF file, and it now lets you include a subset of fonts used when replacing PDF file contents. This release improves the PDF concatenation functionality and introduces the ability to merge XFA forms. Numerous issues related to form field filling, text extraction, conversion of PDF files into images, and PDF printing are fixed in this release.
Widelands is an economic and military simulation game. The map is shown in parallel perspective with 3-dimensional terrain. Buildings and units are animated. The player controls a tribe. Land is claimed and held by military presence and then used to build an economy to support military expansion and confrontation. The project is a work in progress where much remains to be done; computer players and multiplayer are in very early stages of development. Some features that have already been implemented are exploration, fog of war, sound effects, background music, adjustable simulation speed, a few tutorial campaigns, translations to several languages, and a map editor.

JID is a system that can deserialize, update, and reserialize a map of 10,000 entries in 4 milliseconds on an i5 at 2.53 GHz. Serialization/reserialization timings are largely independent of the size and complexity of the table entries. Incremental serialization/deserialization is used to achieve high performance.

py-setproctitle is a library that allows a Python process to change its title, as displayed by system tools such as ps and top. Changing the title is useful in multi-process systems, for example when a master process is forked: changing the child's title allows you to identify the task each process is busy with. It is based on PostgreSQL's multi-platform implementation.
Release Notes: The module can be compiled on Windows again (issue #21).
ClamSAP consists of two C shared libraries that link between ClamAV and the Virus Scan Interface (VSI) of SAP (official name: NW-VSI). A SAP application can use the ClamAV engine to scan for malicious uploads in HTTP uploads, for example.
Release Notes: This release includes an adaption for ClamAV 0.97.4 and support for remote clamd scans.
ELOG Electronic Web Logbook is an electronic logbook with a Web interface. It can be used to maintain personal or shared logbooks, with the ability to add attachments to logbook pages. Logbook entries can be categorized with user-defined classes, and queried using filters on these classes. Automatic email notifications can be generated on new entries based on the classes. The ELOG server is a small stand-alone C program, which runs under Linux and Windows. No other packages are required. The logbooks are saved in plain ASCII files for easy and fast access.

NetXMS is a network monitoring and management system with a modular architecture. It can be used for monitoring an entire IT infrastructure, starting with SNMP-capable hardware (like switches and routers) and ending with applications on servers. The system has a three-tier architecture; the information is collected by monitoring agents (either its own agents or SNMP agents) and delivered to the monitoring server for processing and storing, where it can be accessed by using the management console. It features centralized configuration and centralized agent upgrades.
Release Notes: This is a new "stable" release which deprecates the 1.0.x branch and is recommended for production use. Major changes include a rewritten-from-scratch cross-platform management console, a Web interface, Unicode support, tabular DCIs, and an embedded reporting engine.
